If You Can SEE IT, You Can HAVE IT

WHAT OCCURS in the gray matter between your ears plays a crucial role for success in building muscle. It's no joke that the mind-body connection can be your most potent ally - or your worst enemy - when you are trying to increase lean muscle mass, pack on the bulk and get fit. For anyone, but especially for hardgainers, the best mindset is one that is results-oriented and results-driven ... period. This is where you choose that failure is NOT an option!

Many times, when a guy or gal decides to 'hit the gym', his or her aim may be anything but results-oriented. Matter of fact, a recurring and rather self-destructive mindset in bodybuilding overall are beliefs and attitudes that are more motive-driven than results-driven.

Setting and determinedly striving towards specific short-term and long-term goals with your intention on the prize (your desired outcome) is what ultimately results in that buff body with lean muscle gain you can actually measure. There are numerous methods you can employ to easily and effectively promote your success in getting buff; but by far, one of the VERY BEST is highlighted in this lens. :)

When Failure Is NOT An Option!

Half the Battle is in Your Brain

SUCCESS IN ANY bodybuilding attempt can only be measured by your results, which are greatly enhanced by having a muscle-building mindset.

It is a sad reality of bodybuilding that many men and/or women have an inclination to be motive-driven. If you observe workout times in the gym, you'll observe this in action. Members will exercise at one piece of equipment and then another, having no clear objective in mind for their workout time.

Just 'showing up' for a workout is a poor, short-term goal at best ... and if a hardgainer is not watchful, this type of mindset will sabotage his or her success at the gym.

Just because you're skinny today doesn't mean you'll be that way forever ... or maybe it does if your thoughts aren't powered for ultimate goal accomplishment.

A Results-Oriented Mindset

Driven Towards Success - Inside and Out

FOR ANYONE wishing to build bulk and lean muscle mass - but especially for the guys and gals at the scrawny end of their gene pool - your eventual success of any workout routine must stem from a purpose or results-driven mentality (a muscle-building mindset). This positive mindset bears rewards far beyond those that may be achieved by people who are merely motive-driven.

Not only is a results-oriented mindset mandatory for muscle-building success, but the additional strategies you can gain from brainstorming with a good coach and/or mentor can help eliminate frustrations that are the usual result of weak intentions.

A really good example of the impact your mindset has on your success at muscle-building can be illustrated with something called "imagery". This is one of the most powerful mental exercises you can do that will help you achieve greater success with your efforts and time because its very premise is "if you can see it (imagine it - - visualize it in your mind) you can achieve it."

IN THE "ZONE"

It All Begins With The Muscle-Building Mindset!

ONE OF THE GREATEST bodybuilders of all time that proceeded to gain world recognition, even at the White House, is Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was one who focused on the end results he wanted ... he got himself totally focused in the 'zone' ... and trained so he got the very best of results. TAKE A LOOK AT HIS RESULTS !

The Ultimate Mental Exercise for Building Muscle

Think Like a Bodybuilder ... BECOME a Bodybuilder!

IT IS A PHYSIOLOGICAL FACT that you cannot think or even use your imagination without some level of physical response happening.

When you visualize something (picture it in your mind), those images result in neurological patterns in the brain which cause a strengthening of that associated pattern.

The result is that IF YOU CAN SEE YOURSELF getting ripped muscle from pumping that iron ~ if you can visualize gaining muscle mass on top of muscle mass ~ those biceps WILL grow!

SEE It ... FEEL It ... GET It

No Exercise Routine Is Complete Without It

IF YOU HAVE WORKED HARD at the gym and it is now time to rest, realize that your exercise routine for the day is not finished without programming your muscle-building mindset for success.

The most excellent way to maintain your mindset in the correct state of focus for muscle-building success is to use the time right before dozing off to sleep for imagery exercises, or visualization.

Rather than re-living a tedious play-by-play of your day, thinking of what you should have done or could have done - how frustrated you may be at your apparent slow progress - or how you'd like to look like Vince Del Monte when you wake up, right before sleep is prime time to exercise your gray matter for success.

Right before sleep is the most important time of your day because without the mental exercises of visualizing you as lean, buff, muscular and fit those desired results will be much slower to see.

So stop thinking about your still-scrawny appearance in the mirror, because by such thought patterns, you are dousing the fires of your inner power to facilitate change in the direction you really want it to go.

At bedtime, rather than negative thoughts that lead you to dosing off tiredly, consciously reinforce and motivate yourself for your success in the gym by imagining yourself in peak condition - with rippling muscles spread over your world-class, buff body. Are you getting the picture, yet?

Visualize your desired outcome ... see yourself as how you want to be and not how you may be at this moment in time. This exercise will do wonders for your muscle-building progress because you are programming yourself for that outcome.

TRY THIS: When you close your eyes at night, picture yourself in the gym, in front of a full-length mirror, enjoying the sense of pride you feel at having accomplished your goal. You are lean, buff, muscled and absolutely fit! This mental exercise right before sleep can help you create that very outcome.

If you can imagine yourself as having achieved the ideal body you want, there will be no leftover "buts" in your mind that you can arrive at that goal. Visualizing those bulging biceps, that massively, muscled frame with rippled 6-pack abs can produce a positive, subconscious force that will propel you towards muscle mass success.
