Food to Eat To Gain Weight and Build Muscle
Gaining weight and building muscle when you're a hardgainer is no easy task believe me. That's why it is important that you first of all, think about the food that your bodybuilding efforts should be built on. This is the most influential thing when it comes to wanting to gain weight and build muscle effectively.A good diet should contain the solid foundations required of any good bodybuilding diet. These include good quality protein rich foods, good quality carbohydrate sources, and essential fats.
Good sources of protein are:
Lean cuts of beef
Whey Protein Powder
Skinless Chicken
Tuna/Sardines/Salmon
Low Fat Cottage Cheese
Egg Whites
Turkey Breast
Any other fish cooked well
Good Sources Of Carbs:
Oatmeal
Yams/Sweet Potato
Lentils
Beans(pinto,black etc.)
Brown Rice
Fresh Vegetables (all kinds)
Fruit
Other Wholegrains
Wholegrain Breads/Pastas
Good Fat Sources:
Flaxeed Oil (Udo's Choice etc.)
Fish Oil
Cold Pressed Un-refined Vegetable Oils
Perilla Oil
Olive Oil
Almonds
Walnuts
Flaxeeds
Avocados
Salmon
All the above foods should be incorporated into your diet and a basis of 40% 30% 30% should be achieved. What I mean by this is the percentage of calories obtained from each of nutrition groups (pro, carb, fat).
To gain weight it also important to get the measurement of calories correct in order to bulk. Something like 3400 calories a day is ideal for the average hardgainer, say 170Lbs and 6ft. This could be increased depending on your work or lifestyle.

Lose Fat and Build Muscle
Cut fat while maintaining muscle growth
So you have decided to start weight training to bulk up and tone those muscles? You signed up for a gym membership and you are ready to work out. Good for you! But before you begin your new strength training program, you might want to educate yourself about how to lose fat and build muscle while maintaining a healthy diet. Many people decide to only concentrate on one goal, whether it be losing weight, gaining muscle or gaining weight. But focusing on all three will give you the toned, healthy body that you've always wanted.
Most of the time, women want to lose fat and men want to build muscle. Women tend to shy away from weight training for fear that they will become too muscular and appear manly. Women are also more likely to try to lose fat by turning to fad diets and other unhealthy means.
Men, on the other hand, tend to be so focused on bulking up that they don't think about losing fat or eating a healthy diet. Men tend to make the mistake of eating large amounts of calories, mostly in the form of starchy carbs and fatty foods, which only leads to a lower metabolism and more weight gain. They may get the big, bulky muscles they want, but they also get new layers of fat to cover those muscles!
No matter what your ultimate body goals are, though, the secret to reaching them is combining cardio exercise, strength training and a healthy, well-balanced diet. In fact, each of these things will work with the others to help you get the best possible results in the shortest amount of time.
Changing your diet should be your first step. We're not talking going on a crash diet or cutting out an essential nutritional element, such as carbs, from your meals.
These extreme measures may help you lose fat initially, but in the end you will be in worse shape than you were before, because no one can sustain that kind of diet for very long. On top of that, it's simply not healthy to deprive your body of the things that it needs.
Your goal should be to establish an all-around health conscience diet. This is not something that you will do for a few months and then go back to your old ways. This is a lifestyle change that you will maintain for years to come, if not for the rest of your life. Your diet should help you lose fat, gain muscle and raise your metabolism.

The Benefits Of Flaxseed Oil
That's not all, to crank things up a bit, did you know that there are also tonnes of other very valuable nutrients included in flaxseed oil? Well, there sure is, when I say tonnes I mean it.
Nutrients included are :
Folic acid - Is a form of water soluble vitamin B9 which is essential for the growth of new cells, it's also given to pregnant women during pregnancy to prevent anemia.
Niacin - Is another water soluble form of supplement and it's also known as vitamin B3. It's main roles are energy metabolism and DNA repair, but it also helps in assisting in the production of steroid hormones made by the adrenal gland, such as sex hormones and stress-related hormones.
Vitamin B1 - Is also known a thiamin, it plays an important role in helping the body metabolize carbohydrates and fat to produce energy.
Vitamin B2 - (Also known a Riboflavin) Essential for converting carbohydrate into energy; Essential for normal tissue respiration; Necessary for healthy mucous membranes
Vitamin B12 - Vitamin B12 is necessary for the synthesis of red blood cells, the maintenance of the nervous system, and growth and development in children. Deficiency can cause anaemia. Vitamin B12 neuropathy, involving the degeneration of nerve fibres and irreversible neurological damage, can also occur.
Vitamin A - helps maintain the health of skin and mucus linings (in the nose for example); helps strengthen immunity from infections; helps vision in dim light.
Vitamin D - acts like a hormone, regulating the formation of bone and the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from the intestine. It helps to control the movement of calcium between bone and blood, and vice versa.
Vitamin E - protects your cells against the effects of free radicals, which are potentially damaging by-products of energy metabolism.
If you want to experience the full benefits of flax seed, it is very important that you ground the seeds before you eat them or you can just use pure flax seed oil instead. The flax seed is way to hard to digest in the body and it will pass straight through the body without releasing any of it's nutrients.
I hope you can see the benefits of this oil for building muscle and gaining weight and that you go ahead if you're not doing so already and use it.

- Wonderful article. Gaining weight isn't rocket science, it's hard work. I think that there are a lot of people don't understand that part. Not only that, to get big, you have to eat big. I know a lot of people who workout all day, but don't eat. (Hint: Doing this is not a good idea)
