How To Get Started At Musicnotes.com
Come See How Easy It Is To Download Sheet Music
I can honestly say that it is quite easy. When I first stumbled onto the website a few years ago I ended up downloading the free musicnotes player before actually knowing what I was doing or ordering any music.

There are three main formats to choose from when downloading music on this site (and yes, they are FREE to use).
1. Musicnotes
2. Scorch
3. Guitar Guru
Personally I like the Musicnotes player best. You can adjust the tempo and highlight one section of the sheet music to repeat over and over. This format is printable too.
I like Scorch format too, but don't seem to use it as much. You can adjust the tempo and other settings and you also have the ability to transpose.
I have not personally used the Guitar Guru format for a few years now, but if you play guitar then it works well too. You can see where the notes on the fingerboard are located for each note, so this is especially helpful for newer guitarists.
Whatever format you use, you will be happy. Once you purchase a song you will instantly be able to download it and use it on the available format software. If you are interested in buying sheet music of any kind, then I highly recommend this site.

In case you are wondering what the Musicnotes player looks like, here is a little screenshot of one of my favorite songs. Again, you can set the play speed and adjust all kinds of things to make learning easier, and you can have fun too. I know the picture may be a little small, so sorry. But you can go to Musicnotes and check it out for yourself if you are interested!

Fun Review and Tips
Personal Experience
1. You can preview any song for free. This usually means that you can play the first page of a song on the respective format player (although you can't download it). I often like to use this opportunity to learn the first page of a song for free and if I enjoy it (and am actually able to learn it) then I will buy the full song. Use this to your advantage.
2. Learning songs on the Musicnotes player is extremely helpful to me. I am actually slow at reading music, so this player helps me out. I like to select one small portion of the song at a time (only one or two measures) and slow the tempo all the way down. I then practice only that one part and speed it up as I feel more comfortable playing that part. This way I can learn a song slowly without getting overwhelmed. Enjoy the options Musicnotes offers and have fun!

Hi! I'm a music lover too! I play the piano, although not much anymore. This is a nice site I can refer my friends to when they're looking for piano pieces! Nice lens!
