I love Golden Retrievers, but all of my dogs have been unwanted mutts. When we're able to have a dog again, we'll probably adopt a couple from a rescue foundation or shelter.

Super dooper lens! I've never had a Golden in my life but I've had a mutt (part Llaso Apso and mutt), a purebred Irish Setter, and a purebred Sheltie. Pug, the mutt was a wonderfully intelligent dog who's only quirk was that he hated for my husband to correct him...he would go potty in Jeff's shoe after a scolding. Actually I found that hysterical! Cid the Setter was a loveable clumsy oof with the biggest heart you ever met. Fritz, the Sheltie was the best dog I ever shared my life with. Loving, sweet, intelligent, funny. Miss all of them and can't say their pedigree had much to do with their personalities. All were very special.

I have to admit that our female golden will pout if she is not included on a walk or a trip to the driving range. She also mourns terribly if hubby is out of town. If she is unhappy, she simply goes to her crate and stays there and refuses to interact. I like to think she is just more sensitive than moody. Super lens, here! Love it!
