Why I'm making this page about my Unique Biblical novel
I'm the author of...
My 2 unique novels
I'm also the author of the purposeful sci-fi novel, "IMPOSSIBLE JOURNEY, A Tale of Times and Truth," which is a time travel novel and looks at the spiritual significance of 6 different historical periods as well as one to come, and about which novel I'm going to make a separate lense.
My Unique Biblical Novel
*Why my Biblical novel is unique
*First, it poses no extra-Biblical miracles like some of the Biblical novels of the past (in particular, "The Robe" [posing miraculous powers for Jesus' robe] and "Ben Hur" [posing the healing of the mother & sister by the blood of the cross])
*Secondly, it poses a unique but plausable theory as to who MAY have really been behind the insurrection againt Pontius Pilate.
*Thirdly, it does ad an element which could be considered anachronistic, namely that of non-conformity as an adopted lifestyle (it is not known whether or not there were any people at that time who called themselves non-conformists, but I have chosen to have one of my characters do so.)
Of Such Is the Kingdom : A Novel of Biblical Times
Amazon Price: (as of 12/25/2009)![]()
List Price: $24.95
Used Price: $29.58
*Fourthly, it unites characters from all walks of life.
*Fifthly, I feel my Biblical novel is most unique because of the writing style. In addition to the normal 3rd peson narrative, I have woven in poetry, straight dialouge and 1st person stream-of-conscousness narration.

How I came to write this most unique of all Biblical novels
I won 2nd prize in a writing contest in Jr.College with a short story about a Biblical character. Later I decided to expand it into a novel by adding more characters and drawing out the plot.First I made a list of the characters with their descriptions.
Then, I made a summary of the story and then broke it into chapters, witing a brief summary of each chapter. From there it was just a matter of filling in the details.
Other Biblical Novels I have read.
Then next two stick fairly close to the Biblical account as I reacll (having read "The Silver Chalice" as a family project when growing up, and "The Big Fisherman" in my teen years.
The last one deals with the rapture of the church, which is yet to come.
Acknowledgements
God and my dear wife
2) Secondly I dearly thank my dear wife, Berenice. She has encouraged me, stood by me and kept me sane during the whole process. She actually told me that she had had a dream when she was young which relates to the title and purpose of my novel. In a group of people waitng to go to heaven were adults who looked tired out from having worked hard, and children and an angel was taking only the children. (The meaning being that we can't work our way to heaven, but must come as little children, by faith.)

It's now transformed into a lensography and I would love it if you could feature it here, or lensroll it or something.
