Start Seeds with Toilet Paper Rolls
Organic produce is not only healthier and tastier, it is better for the environment because it is free of pesticides. I garden with heirloom seeds to ensure they are not genetically modified and to maintain their survival. This method of starting seeds will not only allow you to start your heirloom seeds inside in a sunny window, it will also allow you to reuse your toilet paper rolls at the same time. How to Reuse Toilet Paper Rolls to Start Seeds
Organic Gardening the Cheap and Lazy Way
I tend to be a lazy organic gardener. I also tend to be cheap. So, I have come up with ways to allow my vegetable garden to save it's own heirloom seeds and fertilize itself with as little intervention on my part as possible. This past summer I also experimented with growing my vegetables along side my house with my flowers, rather than isolating my garden half an acre away in my yard. This made weeding and watering less labor intensive. The flowers also make good companion plants for the garden vegetables. I just try to make sure the flowers are near the entry way. The rest of the garden surrounding my home is a mixture of veggies and flowers. How to Grow Organic Vegetables the Cheap and Easy Way
