I appraise real estate (in between selling candles) and have helped build the business in my daily travels. Think of it like being Johnny Appleseed, everywhere you go plant a seed. After years of planting those seeds we are seeing lots of positive results. A flyer here and a scent sample there makes for an interesting day and plenty of candle sales. What are your goals for your home business? An extra hundred a month, a car payment, maybe a house payment, or a second home...WOW. Imagine the possibilities! Just depends what you are willing to put into your business. What are you willing to contribute to your financial future? Lets put the seeds in the ground and see what happens over the long haul. After all its is only a candle a day.

We had a 2 day show this weekend and had a great weekend. Sold a Ton of candles and made alot of new friends. Never give up looking for new ways to promote your business. Build your customer base by giving away lots of scent-samples and business cards along with your CD's and other promotional materials. Don't overlook those fundraiser opportunities. Once again it is the first of the month and we are eagerly awaiting our Candle of the Month shipment. This month is Spice Shoppe. With each passing day the anticipation grows. At last with the barking of the dogs appears the Fed -Ex person at the door. We have to pry the package from her hands every month. She always says that it makes her truck smell so good. We break open the little white box and take turns partaking of the new awesome scent. We take out the votives and share a few with the driver.
