About My Mini City

MyMiniCity is an online sim game where you can develop a city by means of clicks from online visitors. These clicks affect six aspects of the city, helping it to grow. Choose where in the world you want your city to be based, create it (no registration necessary) and watch it grow.

The game is available in several languages and its appeal is world wide.

No Registration needed!

You do not need to register in order to create a new city.

Just name your city, create it, and you are ready to play!

How to play

Rules and registration for MyMiniCity

To start playing, you go to the games' website and fill in two pieces of information,
1) your city's name and
2) Select its country

As long as no one is using the name the city will be created ready for you to use, and you will be taken to its control screen.

Like similar games, it relies on players putting the links for the city in places where they will be clicked on (e.g. forum signatures and on websites). Each click will improve your city, but each user can only click on a particular city once per day.

Unlike other games, by giving out different links you can choose what aspect of your city to improve. The default is "population", but you also have Transport, Industry, Security, Environment and Business, which you can select once your population is high enough. As the city grows, new items and buildings will be added.

**MyMiniCity only gives you the URLs to put in your system, not the full code. You will need to format it in BBCode or HTML to create the link.**

Anyone can post the links to your city as the game does not require registration. However this could only be a problem if you are trying specifically NOT to invest in something - e.g. if you want a polluted city or high crime rate. Otherwise its just extra traffic and population.

Other languages

MyMiniCity is also available to play in French and Spanish.

A-Spire: An example city

A growing metropolis

The A-spire city has been set up as a test city for the purpose of this lens. It is in the United Kingdom Area, and currently is a small city with limited population.

To view it go here:
http://a-spire.myminicity.com/

From this control page you can get the links to add to improve parts of the city. (Currently only population is active.) The city has over 30 inhabitants at the present time. A few more and other actions will unlock.

With between 50 and 60 inhabitants, the option to create industries unlocks. If you do not have enough industry inhabitants will leave to find jobs elsewhere.

When A-Spire had 57 inhabitants, industry could be created.
When A-Spire reached around 100 inhabitants, Transport was unlocked.
When A-Spire reached around 300 inhabitants, Security was unlocked.
