What ever your specialty is sooner or later you are going to have to stand up and show the world what you got. This lens is not for video professional or graphic artist. It's how any one can take what they have and use it to promote themselves, or they cause to any size audience.
For over 25 years now I have been working in the presentation end of multi media. and I have run the gantlet from chalk to interactive satellite conferences. And you know what? Some times chalk works best.

Get high tech when your ready
The most important part of any presentation is to always appear in command. If you are not comfortable working with a piece of equipment, don't do it. Chalk on a black board looks a lot better then the image of you fumbling with a lap top or some other piece of media gear. That is why there is a lot of resistance to new technology by some teachers and faculty. Another important consideration is consistency. If you know all the spaces your working in have Overhead projectors but only a few have data projectors, then your not going to invest a lot of time preparing presentation that you can only use in some classes.
