There are several things that I don't like about my dog Mitchu. Actually, there are more than several.

First, he is a royal pain in the neck.I cannot breathe, eat, sleep or do any other essentials without him there by my side. He never gives me a break.

He also wants to go out every hour when I am home. This is simply to get my attention. What is the alternative to taking him out on comman? I have to endure his barking and digging. Needless to say, he goes out often.

In addition, he begs when I eat. Why, I do not know. I never feed him at the table. I don't even have a table. I have a breakfast bar which also poses other problems.

Since I spend most of my waking hours at work or on my computer, he is not happy with that either. If I spend too much time at home on the computer, he throws a tantrum. Consequently, I pay him some attention and then usually have to put him in my bedroom for time out!

I even drag my living room ottoman into the kitchen by my bar stool so he can be closer to my while I work on the computer. You would think this would satisfy him? No, it does not.

If a friend or quite infrequently a date should dare sit next to my on the sofa, he becomes very unhappy with the situation. He will jump onto the sofa between the two of us. Then he feels triumphant!

I don't know if anyone else has a dog like this. I think you can see who is in control here. I tried my hardest to change his behaviour. He has won! Seven years of beating me down and he has finally won!

By the way, you see him on the pool float? Yes, he insisted on being there too! But you have to admit... he is really cute!

Well my dog didn't make it into the top 5 but he did make the top 10 list!
