Just Collecting

I started collecting unicorns when I was a teenager. Knowing that they aren't a real creature just adds to my love of them. My friends and relatives all know that if they're stuck for a present to buy me, they just have to pick up a unicorn. Between my statues, my plates, and my pictures, I have almost 70 of them, and no two are the same.

When And What I Collect

I got my first unicorn when I was 16. My mother gave it to me as a birthday present. I have Franklin Mint Unicorns, Bradford Exchange Unicorns and Princeton Gallery Unicorns. I don't care whether it's a plate, a picture, or a statue. If it's a unicorn, I'll love it.

Is It Worth It?

I would say yes. Especially if you've got a limited edition one. I have 3 or 4 statues from the Bradford Exchange and The Franklin Mint that were only made for a limited run. I've never actually tried to get cash for anything in my collection, but just check out E-bay or any other auction site. You can see how much the prices go up over time.

    5* lens...I paint miniature paintings of Unicorns & Pegasus, both my daughters collected them as youngsters, one Unicorn the other Pegasus...I still have their collection. I also have a YouTube video of my Unicorn & Pegasus art, linked on one of my art lenses.
