The have been recetly fined $1.5 million for false credit reproting

 

NCO Financial Services may owe you money even after being fined by the FTC.   The land mark fine haded out by the FTC did not  absolve them  of any liability that they may owe you.

 

The Fair Credit Reporting Act Makes False Credit Reporting Illegal 

NCO Financial Services used deceptive credit reporting to poison consumers credit file to make negative information appear longer on their credit file than what is allowed by law.

Just Becasue the FTC Slapped them doesn't mean they stopped 

You will see the most recent suits against NCO Financial Services for Fair Credit Reporting Act Violations and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Even a $1.5 million fine wakes them up. Make sure if they are contacting you that you get a copy of your credit report and see if they are reporting correctly.
