Well, here we are. Finally to the big day. SUPER BOWL.
At the beginning of the season i said the New England patriots will win the super bowl by a score if 21-17 over the New Orleans Saints. I still hold true to that except for the team they beat. The New York Giants. They are the better team. However, as we all know, the better team doesn't always win. or there wouldn't be an expression such as "any given sunday". The Giants have been super super hot and come into the game looking much better than the Patriots. The patriots have not covered the spread in 8 weeks. Nearly lost 3 times. Once to the New York giants. Good teams find ways to win, That is what the patriots do. they wil find a way to beat the Giants on Super Bpwl Sunday. The patriots are giants.

New England -14 San Diego - Well I said 18 weeks ago that the New England patriots would win the super bowl. so could i really change my opinion now and bet on San Diego. Yes, but i won't. As I said then and Still believe the brady, moss effect is to huge. Even when Moss only toche the ball once as in last week he still effects the other teams defense. Just the threat that at any time he could sprint past the Defense for a long pass and touchdown makes them respect that. Which in turn opens the over the middle passes. As the corners cover deep the middle section of the defense is now vulnerable. This make the linebackers respect that. Which in turn opens the run game. and the shin bone connected to the knee bone........ Patriots cover the spread.
GB -7.5 NYG. This one could be tougher. but the grade 8 mentality of bret will prevail. Lets face it. He is the biggest kid in the world and plays with all that enthusiasim there of. Now on t fotball talk. They have a hugely underated Defense. The giants need their running game to work in order to give Eli the time to look and find his recievers. Eli is not fast enough under pressure to make good decisions. So...as long as GB's Defense shuts down jacobs..GB wins easy. Check the weather forecat before picking and over under.

well i got the first game right, but was WAY off in the second one. Who would have thought the giants would control GB like that. I think there was a lot of bad play calling by GB staff. Reminded me of watching washington in the 4th quarter this year. except in stead of run,run,throw kick. it was long pas, long pass, short pass. kick.that with a few timely penalties made the game.

Cinn -3 KC. Thisshould be a no brainer. Cinncy has a kick ass offense and a not too bad D. Actually their O is 4th behind only Dallas, NE, and INDy. While KC's O is 28th. however, KC's D is 6th and cinny...27th.

Jacksonville 6.5 Houston - jacksonville is strong but houston has a great offense...I expect them to score....houston to cover

cleveland 4.5 miami...cleveland. Miami has to break in a new quaterback and ther D hasn't been to hot.

Chicago 5 minn - chicago...Wil be a low scoring affair, and minn wont score too much on the chicago D. Take the under with that as well. Im thinking 20 to 10....

Philly 3.5 Jets...Philly all the way. Not a strong offence, but Westbrook is back.

Baltimore 9.5 St louis. baltimore... baltimore is strong but i dont think they will score enough to cover

NO -3 Carolina - Can you believe NO is still a favourite after a 3 and 0 start? But I have to take them. Carolina has been a disapoinment so far, as NO has been. NO is coing of their Bye week and should be fresh. THis is their last chance to get back in the game. Jake is stil questionable for Carolina. No to cover the spread.

Jack 2.5 KC - KC has looked great after their week start. KC is thrid in the league in team Defence. shuld be enough to stop any Jacksonville threat and with Johnson finding his stride last week Im taking KC to cover

Wash 3.5 Detriot - Wash is of their bye week after a horrible second half against the Giants last week. Detroit has played wonderful.Wash is my team, and it's hard to pick against them. Kitna has loked strong and has thrown a lot of intercepotions. The wash secondary ahould have not too much problems stopping his air attack. I expect this to be a low scoring afair with it coming down to a field goal late to win. Dtroit will cover. But wash may win by a point.

Tenn 8 atlanta - Atlanta has started to play some good ball. New qurterback and a team trying to find it's new face without Dog killer boy. Look for atlanta to cover.

Houston 5.5 miami - Houston is too much for miami to handle. houston will cover

Pitt 6 seatle - Look for pitt to bounce back from a poor second half last week and destroy Seattle. Pitt to cover

NE 16.5 cleveland. NE is awsome and cleveland is playing great. I think it will be closer than the spread. NE wil win but cleveland will cover the spread.

Arizona 3.5 st. louis. St louis is horrible this year, and arizona seems to be getting better all the time. Butthe tandom QB attack is now known and it will have lost its surprise. However, I believe in the power of revenge. Kurt warner will wantto look good against his old team. Assuming he gets some play. I think leinhart will get the start but be reaplaced by Kurt early in the second and he wil take charge. Arizona will cover.

NYG 3.5 Jets - Giants look good and jets are up and down. giants wil cover

INdy 10 tampa. TB with garcia have been great. His mobility wil give him an advantage over the indy d line. Tampa to cover.

Denver 1 sandiego. Gimmie. Last chance chargers. If sandiego can stop the denver rush attack they will prevail. If not Denver wil wear down the san diego d. This comes down to SD offense staying on teh field long enough for their D to stay fresh and be able to stop the denver rush attack. If so they are the better D. It wil be close to the fourth and come down to whom ever D is freshest come then.Im going with SD.

Baltimore 3.5 SF. Balt easy call. SF QB is hurt

GB 3.5 Chicago - Chicago wil be looking to improve from last weeks debacle. Can greise do it....not against GB. They are too hot. GB to cover.

Dallas -10 buffalo. This comes down to buffalo being able to keep their offense on the field long enough to let their god D stay fresh. I can't see it hapening. Their D is rated last in the leaguem but not cause they suck, cause the offense keeps them out there too much and they get tired. Dallas D s 8th. Far to good for the buffalo offense to work. Dallas to cover.

Baltimore 4.5 @ Cleveland: Look for Cleveland to cover. Their passing game has been decent and Baltimore has not been god against the pass. However, the flip is that Baltimore d is sooo good with the rush it might be tough to set up for the pass.

Miami -4 Oakland: Taking Oakland here. Miami still missing key players injured.

Houston -3 Atlanta. Houston has been playing some great ball, look for them to continue against Atlanta.

Chicago -3 Detroit. I like Detroit. They are solid, however, Chicago is a much better team then their record shows. With Griese starting They'll kick butt. Now Griese isn't the best, actually he's not really that good at all, but he's better then Grossman, actually everyone is better then Grossman.

GB -2 Minn: The Pack rocks. I know they're record in the dome sucks, but so does Minn.

Dallas 13.5 St. Louis: Dallas is great but not that great. St Louis is better then their record shows. Look for them to keep it closer than that. St Louis defense is 7th in NFL next to Dallas at 21. While Dallas offense is 2nd next to St Louis 25. However, defense wins championships, offense sells tickets. St. Louis to win outright.

Jets 3.5 Buffalo: Jets should take this. However, it's Edwards making his first NFL start he may impress as there is no book on him for Jets to study. I'm taking Buffalo to get their first win.

Carlina -3 Tampa: Tampa to win. Tamapa's D is stepping up and coming together, and Garcia finds ways to win. Must be the CFL training.

Seattle -2 San Fran: Pick it. Both teams are like jeckle and hide. I'm taking SF

Pitt -6 Arizona: Pitt. Arizona looks good, but they wont have enough to over power the Pitt O line. Look for high rush yards for Pitt.

SD -12 KC. Look for a high scoring affair. This is my last week taking SD as a favorite. I know there is problems in the SD locker room. This will be there tell tail week. Its all or nothing.

Indy 9-5 Denver. Indy super bowl champs. Need I say more?

Philly 2.5 NYG. Giants Look good. I'm thinking last week was a negative motivation attempt. with all the bad talk about Mcnabb the team was negatively motivated to win. Once the Motivation is removed so is the results. Giants win.

Indy by 6 - to cover: Houston has a great middle to deep passing attack and a proven running game. Indy is too dep for them. It will be close until late in fourth when Manning will make some key throws to beat the spread.

san diego by 5.5 over Green bay.Im picking SD to cover. More fromthe heart than anything. Defences are 14 and 15th in team defence. While GB has allowed 17 fewer yards er game in rushing and 26 more yards in passing. I think reality may be seting in for both clubs so look for sd to break out a bit more and green bay to slack off. Again stickly from the gut.

KC by 3 over minn. it's coin toss. KC's defense has been better than minni's however, minn midle pass d is weak. Look for gonzalas to havea big game.

Phily -6 Detroit.Im taking detroit to cover here. Phily is due for a win and I think the team wil put it together after geting beat by wash last week. However, It won't be an instant turn around and wil be slow. Look for westbrook to eat up some clock and Eagles to win by a feild goal.

NE -16.5 buff. Man that is a big spread. I hate to take NE wit hsuch a large spread, but buffalo has stunk so far this year and NE has ben killer. I also think they have something to prove with this "cheating" thing over there head. Buffalo is second last in ofence and defense. Ne should have their way. If its not a blow out is cause Bilichek chose to run mulroney more.

NYJ -3 Miami. Miami should cover if not win out right. They have played good ball both losses. Trent green has played well. Jets have too much going on in their heads right now.

Pitt -9.5 San fran. Everything on paper says pitt should cover this one. As we all know there is always an upset each week. Im taking this one. Pitt wil win, but it wil be close.

Balt 7.5 Arizona. Balt offense has ben pitiful this year. McNair is back this week. Not sure it wil make a difference. How much did he do in week one? Leinhart and JAmes have played well and are putting up points and yards. I taking arizona to cover and win out right.

TB -3.5 St Louis.Of al things TBs defens is doing poorly. Go figure. I like Garcia. I think he is a winner. Look waht he did last year in Philly. St Louis has a lot of holes this year. Im taking TB here.

Denver -3 Jacksonville. Denver has played strong. Their defense is rated 2nd and offense 1st. Jacksonvilles offense is 16 and Defense 13th. I think 3 is a small spread. Denver all the way.

Seattle -3 Cinn. Seattle's d is 23rd and offense 12th. Cinnc's d is 30th and offense 8th. Most of that is due to the blow out last weeek against cleveland. That game aside cinn's D is not bad. Look for cinn to rebound with a big win.
