- The bengals will not take a tightend in the second round. Look for the bengals to draft DT Lamar Thomas. They will do the Texas 2 step. If you look back at draft histoty Marvin has done this several times 05,05,07. They've drafted players from the same school. This is a result of small scouting staff and cheap mamagement. Austin double dip in first 2 rounds. Thomas & Thomas

- Pick 48 tebow to carolina is very very unlikely. Carolina has glaring needs at WR and DT mostly WR. Taking Tebow would make as much sense as starting Jake Delhomme after he threw 6 picks the past two games.

- If Saffold fell to the Cowboys at 59, which I don't think he will - I think he'll end going in the first round as his stock continues to rise - they would be crazy not to take him.

- There are better rated players that will be available at no.24 than Sergio Kindle-- the eagles have never picked an OLB in the first round-- look for a versatile offensive lineman. Look for the d-line to be addressed in the second round-- look for a runstuffer or a quick dt like Tyson Alualu/Lamar Houston

Runningbacks
Running backs have short lives in the NFL. Teams frequently are adding new young runners and dropping aging veterans. (see Ahman Green, Fred Taylor, Stephen Davis, Edgerrin James). The draft is where the teams find their youth in the backfield. This year there is an influx of talent of talented running backs. There is the speed demons (Spiller, Best, McCluster) and the bruisers (Gerhart, Dwyer). This draft class is not the best for running backs... but there is a lot of value present in possible 2nd & 3rd round picks. To View the Rest of the Positional Rankings Click Here
