The nakedness and naturism urge

Naked hiking is a modern form of social nudity or naturism. It involves clothes-free walking and jogging in the mountains, forests and fields. It's most popular in Europe, but also in other parts of the world.

The following Declaration of Nakedness from the Nacktiv website (based in Germany) describes the philosophy of naturism:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created nude, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Nakedness."

No-clothes hiking - really? 

True naked hiking extremists as well as those who oppose naturism maintain (for rather conflicting reasons...) that naked hiking should be totally all-naked, and nothing but naked. However common sense require that certain types of walks ask for at least appropriate footwear, hiking poles, backpacks, etc.

You may need nothing to wear when you walk along the beach, but when you hike in the mountain, you must have those... And you also need some protection against the sunburn, mosquitoes, etc. So here are some of the products from Amazon that naked hikers may find useful.
