Namitha entered the film industry through telugu films and today she is the most demanding actress in tamil film industry. Namitha was introduced into the film industry first by Malayalam film director Siddhique. Her first fame with popularity came by the film tamil version of the film Engal Anna.
It was the Miss India contest that brought Namitha to telugu film industry. After entering Tollywood, she immediately grabbed the attention of telugu film lovers with her action in both Sontam and Gemini though the films didnt perform well in the box office.But later she picked up and almost all of her sucessive films were hits.She is now a most wanted Glamour girl in Tamil film Industry.
