The Life of Nancy Cartwright
Nancy Cartwright was born in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of Miriam and Frank Cartwright. She lived there til her college years then transferred to UCLA. She married Warren Murphy in 1998 and had two children (later divorced in 2005). She joined Scientology and was given an award for her generous contribution to the church.
She went on to be the voice of many amazing characters like Rugrats, Kim Impossible, Richie Rich and even My Little Pony and now very known for the voice of Bart Simpson.
She appeared on many television shows as well like Cheers, Empty Nest, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, etc..
She has won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Voice- Over Performance and an Annie Award.
She currently is the co founder of Happy House, a non-profit organization dedicated to building better families. She supports several other charities including Famous Fone Friends, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Devonshire PALS and the Way to Happiness Foundation. In 2007, she received the Make-A-Wish Award for her "significant commitment to the mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Los Angeles."
