Napoleon Dynamite ROCKS!

Napoleon Dynamite is on my Top 10 Favorite "Movies of all Time" movie list. It funny and real and down right cool.

I saw this movie really early on before it became a Pop Culture favorite. So here is my ode to Napoleon Dynamite!

I love this movie because the characters are real. I have debated this point with a lot of people and I always win. Take a look at the average 15-year old. They also going to look and act a lot like Napoleon, Deb & Pedro. It aways makes me laugh to see movies with hot actors who are 30 playing teenagers. These "teenagers" are well groomed, witty and smart. Napoleon, Deb & Pedro are real...awkward, odd and dressed like a 15-year-olds. I love that about this movie. Note: Yes I know that Jon Heder was not 15 when he made this movie, but darn he was good!

This is a must have for anyone who LOVED the Prom Song from Napoleon Dynamite. The ultimate love song. It also has some great songs like "Big in Japan".

The Dance Of All Dances

When Napoleon gets up on stage and dances his heart out it's a stellar moment...up there with the Rebels defeating the Empire. It's Maslow's Hierarchy and Napoleon has reached Self-Actualization. A perfect movie moment. I laughed, I cried, I stood up and cheered. If only everyone could have such perfect event in their lives the world might be full of happier people. So the next time opportunity knocks, take a chance and dance, dance, dance.

My personal favorite lines:

"Really? It took me like three hours to finish the shading on your upper lip. It's probably the best drawing I've ever done."
