Natural, Relieving, Nasal Irrigition For Heathier Sinus Function

The Nasal Neti Pot secret and how it can help you.

The ancient "Jala Neti" technique of flushing the sinuses has revealed it's importance to the western world. For thousands of years the nasal neti pot has been used for nasal irrigation by the Yogis of India.

After hearing that Oprah had a show on the Jal Neti pot, I did not understand the difference a net pot salt wash would make until I tried it myself. What a difference!

This practice consists of a simple solution of salty water that is poured in through one side of the nose with the head tilted foreword (over the sink). Water drains out the other side.

When using Nasal Neti Pots it is possible to breathe through the mouth. It is then repeated on the other side of the nose... It's that simple.

(Jal Neti pots salt-water mixture amounts may vary for comfort)

It can be performed as often as you shower or brush your teeth and its very easy to do.

This simple action can mean a world of a difference for cold sufferers, those with common or serious allergies and problems with sinus congestion.

- flush pollen and other allergens
- nasal neti pot helps to flush mucous, bacteria and many viral organs.
- aids in helping to reprogram the bodies natural health defense function in the sinus area.

The practice of Sinus Cleansing is also beneficial to the cleanliness of the eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, and even the thinking processes. Neti Pot Salt packets are available too.

The pre-portioned packets are measured for the right amount and mildness for the rinse. When you Buy Neti Pot it may be constructed of ceramic, copper, plastic or almost any material. Any one that's comfortable for you will do.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to use purified or distilled water and NOT tap water. The chlorine and other chemicals are too high and usually give a burning sensation similar to the feeling of having inhaled smimming pool water.

THIS ONE IS REAL!

I know lots of people claim Oprah did this and that, but this one is real.

As a matter of fact here is a screen shot from the episode where they were about to demonstrate how to use a neti pot for the audience. That's one in Oprah's hand. (Now, I'm good with Photoshop but I'm not THAT good.) The product brand of the one she has is by the Himalayan Institute. It's the most notable design, it is also the one in the first picture above and the one the girl is using in the black and white photo and you can get one at the links I provide on this page. Very inexpensive.

Jal Neti Pot User Update!

My ongoing experience with neti pot and nasal irrigation.

Ever since I've been using the Jal Neti method of nasal irrigation I've really been breathing better, more often.

Some days it's been so surprising that I think, "Wow, I'm getting a complete, clear, full breath!"

I'm a afraid to inhale all the way because I might suffocate anyone else in the same room, ha ha!

It's really been wonderful and I have had great results. Just think, even my son tried it when he was 5 years young and still asks me to use it... He's seven now!

Recently my doctor recommended Nasopure, a nasal irrigation system referred to as the modern neti. I have tried both the neti and Nasopure and have found Nasopure far superior. I dont have to bend and twist like the neti and Nasopure seems to give a much more effective flush because it uses self controlled pressure instead of gravity. The angled Nasopure bottle allows for you to stand straight up while using it. Also, the salt packets that come with the product is much cheaper and seems more effective than that of the neti. I use one salt packet for about a week in the shower with Nasopure while the neti uses atleast one packet per use. Their website www.nasopure.com is very informative too and compares different nose washes on the market.
