Christmas Nativity Sets
Christmas Nativity sets represent the birth of Jesus of Nazareth in Bethlehem and also portray the visit of the 3 Wise Men and the Gift of the Maji.
Although some speak of the manger that Jesus was born in and others depict it more of a cave, Nativity scenes usually show it as a manger.
The Angel or Star at the top of the Nativity sets signifies the Star Of Bethlehem
of which lead the 3 Wise Men to Bethlehem and the Christ child.
Nativity Scenes are part of the Christmas tradition world wide with each country adding their own personal traditions.
Growing up as a child, my favorite part of Christmas was not trimming the tree but being able to arrange the figurines in our family's Nativity set. Although my brother would always move the figurines around my endless whining would always win out in the end and I would get my way.
