Pet Care Concerns
After the Chinese tragedies last year involving tainted pet food (as well as the lead based paint issues with our children' toys), I have reconsidered what we feed our dogs, as well as how we care for them. There are several alternatives to feeding your four-legged friends with what ever Wal Mart or your local feed store offers, especially when you consider that you have no idea where, or how pet food is manufactured or what secret ingredients it may contain.
The most interesting option for me so far has been the all natural companies that have sprung up. As we humans have learned to take better care of ourselves through natural remedies and holistic medicine, it's only natural (haha) that we would want to tend to our pets with the same awareness. Today's animal lovers are passionate about their pets and concerned about their health, and the trend toward natural products for their pets is growing.
I have found natural pet care products, including vitamins, supplements, medicine, food, treats, chews, bones, flea control products, grooming supplies, litter, cleaning supplies, organic food and treats, herbal remedies, homeopathy, raw food, flower essences, and natural flea control products.
Of course, I am not suggesting that we should shun our veterinarian's advice or treatment, only that we do have alternatives to traditional pet care.

Our story
They say opposites attract, but that can't be the case with my wife and I, at least not when it comes to loving dogs and animals in general. Read about our little family here Our Little Bird Dog

I have two dogs. A Border Collie and an Australian Shepherd. So they aren't exactly like yours, but at least they are dogs. I also have 10 cats.
And 2 miniature donkeys and 3 goats. YIKES
