Natural Cellulite Treatment -- Is there Such a Thing?

The idea for natural cellulite treatment sounds too good to be true. Can it be for real?

It is a fact that almost 90 percent of women have cellulite in one degree or another. Countless number of products on the market promise to solve the problem, but it seems like not too many of them work.

So, did someone finally crack the code? Are we going to enjoy smooth beautiful bodies? And can we get there using natural methods?

First Things First -- What is Cellulite

The Fat That is Different

To get a full understanding of cellulite, we have to familiarize ourselves with skin anatomy.

The outermost layer of skin is referred to as your epidermis. Immediately underneath is the dermis, which is richly filled with hair follicles, sweat glands, blood vessels, nerve receptors and connective tissue. Now here it becomes interesting. Under the skin, there are three layers of fat. The top layer is called the subcutaneous layer, and it is where cellulite occurs. Notice that the bottom two fat layers are "reserve" areas, where excess calories are stored as fat cells but cellulite does not occur in these layers.

In the subcutaneous layer, directly under the skin, there is a mesh-like or net-like fibrous connective tissue called septae. This septae forms a network of compartments, in which fat cells are located. The functions of this fibrous tissue are to keep the fat cells tightly packed, provide structural support for the skin, and to insulate the body.

In cellulite, the subcutaneous fat cells are pushed upwards, and the septae is pushed downwards. As a result, the net barrier is ineffective and allows the fat beneath to push through, hence the look of dough in a string bag. The fat cells swell and can clump together in the underlying areas of the skin, giving rise to the characteristic pockets of orange peel skin which may become visible.

Even though the actual chemical nature of cellulite fat does not differ from "normal" fat (it differs only in the way it is held and distributed in the body tissues), there are several extremely important differences that you have to keep in mind when you are trying to get rid of cellulite:

Cellulite:

  • Located within the skin

  • Affects women mostly

  • Concentrated around the lower trunk and extremities

  • When squeezed, cellulite appears to
    have ridges, lumps and irregularities

  • Cannot be used as an energy source
    by the body

"Regular" Fat:

  • Located below the skin

  • Affects equally both women and men

  • Occurs anywhere on the body

  • When squeezed, regular fat is smooth
    in texture

  • The body can use it as a source of energy.

Types of Cellulite

Which One is More Susceptible to Treatment?

You might think "Why is important to know what type of cellulite I have?" The simple answer is "It affects how easy you can get rid of your cellulite!"

There are two types of cellulite:

Hard, or solid, cellulite usually occurs in women who are physically active. Hard cellulite is difficult to get rid of because it doesn't lift from the body easily. The good news is it's also harder to see because it attaches directly to the muscle.

Soft cellulite is not as concentrated as hard cellulite and is much more visible. It occurs in large areas and, because it doesn't attach so strongly to the muscle, it's looser, often sagging from the body. The good news here is that even though it's easier to spot, it's also easier to remove.

Stages of Development

How Advanced is Your Cellulite?

Nowadays is considered that cellulite develops in five stages:

Stage One:

In this very early stage, all of the changes are not visible to the naked eye. There may not be any other symptoms except for cuts and bruises taking longer to heal because of the impaired circulation.

What actually happens is this:
Blood vessels begin to break down allowing water to leak into tissue.
Excess fluid accumulates causing deterioration of the collagen and elastin that give skin its structure.
Sub-dermal fat cells clump together and begin to migrate upwards.

Stage Two:

In this stage, you may notice thicker and more tender skin than normal, as well as discoloration or broken veins. The skin may also bruise more easily. However, there is no appearance of the lumpy cellulite bumps yet. The surface effects of cellulite are minimal, but when pinched, an "orange peel" texture is apparent.

Under the surface:
Vascular breakdown accelerates.
More fluid accumulates and deterioration of structure worsens.
Fat cells migrate into the dermis more freely now.

Stage Three:

The first signs of lumps and the "orange peel" look appear.

On a deeper level:
Skin may have a rough, bumpy feel.
Damaged blood vessels cannot deliver nutrients needed for healthy skin metabolism and repair.
Fibrous bands of septa bind fat cells into hard nodules.

Stage Four:

Due to the lack of circulation, the skin may feel cold to the touch.

Under the skin:
The lymphatic fluid is not moving. This causes the fibrous septae to harden into thicker fibers. Oxygen and nutrients cannot reach the cells.
Some fat cells may also become incorporated into these fibers, which adds to the fibers' thickness. These fibers begin to trap and squeeze the fat cells, which press on the surrounding tissue and reduce even more circulation in the area.

Stage Five:

In this stage, the thick fibers, trapped fat cells, and stagnant fluids form a huge honeycomb structure called steatomes. Lumps and dimples are always visible and damage occurs at all layers of the skin. Nodules and fluid retention lead to pain and tenderness.

What you cannot see:
Because of the high pressure, blood circulation is re-routed around the cellulite area.
Septae fibers continue to grow to an extent that the fat cells are completely trapped.
Although fat continues to be stored in these cells, it is not efficiently removed from it (through exercise or diet) because of the poor circulation.
Nodules are larger, more common and harder.
Fluid retention is severe.

OK, It's Official -- You Have Cellulite! What next?

Can we get rid of cellulite using natural methods?

Now that we know what cellulite is, and chances are you have it (some of us big time), you have to decide what you want to do with it. What options do you have?

Option One:
You do nothing about it. You feel comfortable with it and it doesn't bother you at all.

Option Two:
You hate it so much that you want to banish it immediately! You start searching for the "magic" surgery that will take care of it instantly, without any efforts or changes on your behalf. You like "cut" the problem approach. (Keep in mind that surgery is NEVER the fastest way to get results. Think about the waiting time for the procedure and the recovery time afterward.)

Option Three:
You cannot stand it anymore but you realize that the best solution should be natural, one that will not harm you in any way. So, you take a deep breath and keep reading. And I promise you that natural methods can provide surprisingly fast results.

If you choose option three, I have to warn you (listen carefully, this is the key and without it you are NOT going to succeed) :

THIS SITE WILL NOT CURE YOUR CELLULITE! In fact, there is not a single product or method that can do that for you! YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN CURE YOUR CELLULITE! We will provide the information that can help you, but how you are going to use it, it's totally up to you.

Here, I said it. Your fate is in your own hands.

Cellulite is a condition that develops over time. Remember, it has 5 stages of development. Simple logic tells us it will take commitment to get rid of cellulite. You will have to accept certain changes in your life. But it's all worth it! And the results come fast!

The Natural Cellulite Treatments

Simple Steps That Will Cure Cellulite Naturally

There is an opinion out there that cellulite is not curable. I don't share it. It is HARD to cure and it requires A LOT OF persistence, but every woman that sets up her mind to it, can do it!

There are several natural methods that will help you when you are fighting to get your smooth look back : detox diet, special exercises, massage and everything that will help your blood and lymph circulation.

Because most women are looking for fast results, let's start with the absolute fastest method to get rid of cellulite naturally.

Changing your diet is CRITICAL for your success when you are fighting cellulite. Now, remember that cellulite does not react to restrictive diet like "regular" fat does. However, when you lose weight the pressure from the lower two fat layers decreases and cellulite becomes less visible. But...it stays there. So, what should we do? Instead trying to get rid of cellulite through "normal" diet and exercises, we should pay attention to the fact that due to the poor blood circulation, in the damaged from cellulite areas are trapped a lot of toxins. Getting rid of these toxins is a very important step in the process.

One of the best programs to naturally get rid of cellulite that you can find is an e-book called Cellulite Free Forever! It's a complete guide that shows you what steps you need to follow in your natural cellulite treatment and will help you to:

  • get your most gorgeous, stop-and-stare body in record time;

  • eat your way to cellulite-free belly, hips, and thighs;

  • easily incorporate the world's most potent all-natural fat burners into your daily routine to melt away fat and cellulite like magic;

  • detoxify your system safely and easily;

  • it will not only flush away stubborn cellulite deposits, but will transform your skin from dry and dull to fresh, vibrant, and glowing;

  • continuously replenish your energy stores for a steady flood of boundless energy.

Following the simple step-by-step instructions, you will start seeing results in just 3 short weeks. Stick with the program, and in 3 months you will look amazing!

A few more words about the cellulite diet you should follow

It's a detox diet!

It cannot be stressed enough: remember the most important rule about a cellulite diet is DETOXIFICATION!

Fighting your cellulite starts from inside out. Cellulite is toxins and water trapped in your top layer of fat. So, if you want to get rid of your "cottage cheese look" find a way to detoxify your body.

If you want the fastest results possible, there is a proven method of fast detoxification, known as Master Cleanse. Don't try it before you do your homework first! It might be quite harsh if your system is overloaded with toxins. Even if you are in a harry, it might be a good idea to start slowly and give your body a chance to prepare for the process.

The best way is to read the book Master Cleanse Secrets and follow the steps in it. This incredible book will not only guide you during your cleanse, but will show you how to prepare before the fast and what to do after it!

Remember, the Master Cleanse is NOT your anti-cellulite diet. It is not even a diet. It is a way to fully detoxify your system and jump start the whole process of getting on the right track to a healthy life. It's only 10 days long. So, if for some reason you want extremely fast results, you can start with the Master Cleanse and then implement your anti-cellulite diet as your regular regime.

Exercises As Natural Treatment Of Cellulite

Which One Will Help You To Get Rid Of Cellulite Naturally

After we discussed the type of diet that will help you to banish cellulite, it's time to see what other methods we have at our disposal.

Of course, exercising comes to mind. But are all exercises equal and if not, which are the best ones for our purposes?

When we talk about cellulite, we have to remember what we said earlier - it is NOT a regular fat. So, "regular" exercises will NOT help a lot. Yes, they will burn calories and "normal" fat, which is always good, and they will improve your overall health.

But for our purposes we'll have to think in terms of increased blood and lymph circulation in the areas damaged from "cottage cheese" syndrome.

So, which exercises will do the trick?

The best exercises for cellulite will include both aerobic, or cardiovascular workouts and also strength training workouts. Aerobic exercises are beneficial because they improve blood circulation and blood is the vehicle that carries oxygen to all parts of the body. Oxygen helps to break down fat and helps to carry fat and toxins out of your system.

On top of that, cardio exercises that are the best exercises to get rid of cellulite also stimulate the lymphatic system. Lymphatic system plays major role in eliminating toxins and fats from your body. Excellent exercises that are considered cardio workouts include: swimming, biking, elliptical trainers, jogging, running, stair climbing, aerobics classes and ... walking. DO NOT underestimate walking! It is said by experts to be one of the best overall aerobic activities a person can do. It is not only highly effective, but, as a bonus, it is simple to do, inexpensive since it doesn't require special equipment, and convenient for most everyone to do on a regular basis.

Another excellent exercise to get rid of cellulite naturally is strength training. It helps to tone the muscles, making them firmer and shapelier. And, because of increased blood flow to the areas being worked through strength training, the skin in the area is also firmed and tightened which helps to smooth out the look of cellulite beneath the skin. In addition, the fat in that specific area is targeted and more effectively burned.

The Absolute Winner -- Number One Exercise That Will Help You To Banish Cellulite Naturally

Have You Heard That Rebounding Is One Of The Best Natural Cellulite Treatments?

If you have to pick only one exercise to help you naturally get rid of cellulite, that is without any doubt rebounding.

What Is Rebounding?

Put simply - bouncing on a mini trampoline. Unlike regular trampolining, the aim isn't to bounce high or perform gymnastic tricks, but to perform a series of small, controlled movements.

Why rebounding is so beneficial?

It is a "zero-impact" exercise, that unlike many other aerobic activities, does not place strain on the joints of your body. Rebounding provides many benefits for you and your body:

* Improves circulation
* Boosts the lymphatic and immune system
* Improves muscle tone (particularly legs, thighs, hips, abdomen and arms)
* Increases the capacity of heart and lungs
* Lowers cholesterol levels
* Improves co-ordination and balance
* Reduces stress and tension
* Increases energy and vitality
* Fits in with your lifestyle
* AND IS GREAT FUN

It is considered by NASA as "the most efficient and effective exercise yet devised by man"!

The rebounding motion stimulates all internal organs, moves the blood and the lymph. The lymphatic system is the metabolic garbage can of the body. It rids you of toxins such as dead and cancerous cells, nitrogenous wastes, fat, infectious viruses, heavy metals, and other assorted junk cast off by the cells. The movement performed in rebounding provides the stimulus for a free-flowing system that drains away these potential poisons and helps your body to get rid naturally of toxins that cause cellulite.

All cells in the body become stronger in response to the increased "G force" during rebounding, and this cellular exercise results in the self-propelled immune cells being up to 5 times more active. These immune cells are responsible for eating viruses, bacteria and even cancer cells, that's why their activation is extremely important. Jumping on a mini-trampoline directly strengthens the immune system, so it's a big deal!
