Beautiful Nature and Wildlife Artwork

Do you love nature? Are you wild about animals? Do you like vivid colors? Then step into the bright and colorful world of nature and wildlife by aspiring artist, Dawn Ross.

Nature by Dawn Presents Nature and Wildlife Artwork

by aspiring artist, Dawn Ross

I grew up in a small town outside of Salem, Oregon. Although we lived in town, we had dogs, birds, ducks, and chickens. My mother loved animals as well as the outdoors and often took my sister and I to the coast or camping in the wilderness. As a result, I grew to also love animals and nature.

The beauty of nature has always been an inspiration to me. Studying its many facets of shape and color intrigues me and gives me the desire to recreate that beauty in my art. My work is not meant to be an exact representation of the world's beautiful lands and creatures, but to emphasize its most striking features and bring as much life into the image as possible. I enjoy using bright colors and experimenting with various mediums. My art will continue to develop as I learn more skills and techniques, but the essence of nature in my work will never change.

Currently, art is my hobby, not my career. I work full time and am only able to draw or write on the weekends. As I continue to improve my skills, I am also working to get my artwork to the public. My dream is to travel and paint full time and to share my love of nature with the world.

Go to my site and check out all the wonderful work of tigers, wolves, dogs, cats, horses, birds, landscapes, seascapes, and more!

About NatureByDawn

Hi, my name is Dawn. I own a company called Nature by Dawn. I have been a pet owner all my life and have vast experience with animals. I have worked at an animal shelter and at a boarding kennel. And I have volunteered at a humane society and a wildlife center. I am also an artist and a writer. As an artist, I mostly draw nature and animals and I occasionally draw make-believe creatures such as dragons and fairies. I write in the sci-fi fantasy genre. I have written multiple short stories and novels (first novel is to be published soon).
