Of course, in the fair weather months, there are the attractions, the state Parks and recreation areas, and the walking trails. There is no end to the fun to be had in Spring, Summer and Fall

Nebraska also has some fantastic hunting and fishing. Most of the Parks and sites are open year round to accomodate both the hunters and the snow adventurers! 12 months a year, there are things to do here in Nebraska.

Nebraska has wonderful hunting for deer, elk, turkey, antelope, furbearing animals (Fox, badger, skunk, oppossum, bobcat and more), small game, and waterfowl.

Bird watchers also enjoy Nebraskas Wildlife areas. The Nebraska Game and Parks commission has general information on these areas Here which also includes information about camping, ice fishing, waterfowl blinds and more.

There are many accomodations for Hunters in Nebraska, including Guest and Hunting Ranches. One list is located Here

Nebraska has Virtual Walking trails in each of the regions of Nebraska. The trails range in size from 263 Miles to 600 miles. The Extention Service has a map and details of each of the trails. This is the most unique inspiration to walk that I have ever seen. It also allows you to "View Nebraska" with every mile you walk. So, you can be walking in Ohio, and still "discover Nebraska". You have to check this out. I'm starting tomorrow!
