Considering nutritional deficiencies as a culprit to poor sleep...

by RealHealthGenius

You spend night after night lying awake, dreading your drive to work because you know you'll be nodding off on the way there from lack of good rest. Or, you're caring for your kids all day with barely any energy because you can't remember the last time you had a good nights sleep.

As a physical therapist, I meet people all the time who suffer with sleep problems either because of pain or other causes. As you read this lens, you're going to find that there is simple scientific solution that could change everything for you!

There are approximately 40 million Americans suffering from some type of sleep dysfunction. That translates to 1 in 6 people who are having difficulty getting a 'good nights sleep' with resultant fatigue and frustration. The most heart breaking statistic is that almost all cases are undiagnosed.

Could the solution for many be as simple as PROPER NUTRITION?

What nutritional deficits result in sleep problems?

Definitely read this before you buy sleep aids

Certain nutritional deficiencies have been linked to sleep problems. Common nutritional deficiencies include: Calcium, Magnesium, B Vitamins, and certain Hormones.

By simply taking the RIGHT NUTRITIONAL DIETARY SUPPLEMENT, it can dramatically effect your ability to get the sleep you so desperately need.

The right nutritional dietary supplement is one that is fully customized to you not only based on lifestyle factors, but your DNA as well. As you read through this lens, you will find out how easy it is to obtain a DNA guided nutritional dietary supplement.

What should I try before looking at nutritional supplements?

  • Consuming anything with tryptophan before bed: warm glass of milk, tuna, turkey, honey, egg whites.
  • Maintaining a healthy weight with consistent physical activity. Research has linked obesity to sleep apnea and insomnia.
  • Avoid anything with caffeine: chocolate, cocoa, soft drinks and some over the counter and prescription medications
  • Avoid foods that may cause GI upset: spicy, sweet, fatty
  • Other foods that promote sleep: leafy green vegetables, rich in chlorophyll, whole grain breads and cereals and mushrooms. Fruits, especially berries, help with sleep problems. Even spices, including dill sage, and basil can help.

How do I know what supplement is best for me?

There are so many supplements available on the market...

The array of supplements on the market today makes it difficult to choose the one that is right for you. Without a lab work up, there's no way of knowing what deficiencies you have in your diet. The most innovative thing to hit the market to date is 'customized nutritional supplementation'. A simple swab of your cheek and a whole food, natural supplement is created just for you based on an analysis of your DNA.

Where do I find 'Customized Nutritional Supplements'?

Just a handful of companies offer DNA personalized products at this time: Genewize , Quixstar, Market America, Solgar, and CodeNutrition.

Genewize is the only company to use a breakthough 'titration matrix' to formulate a scientifically DNA guided product into a single serving solution.

There are over 120 possible product ingredients in this 80-90% whole food product. This makes for over 177,000 possible combinations!

Really the best thing is how easy it is to get this innovative product for free, Oh and did I mention 90 day money back guarantee!

It's time to experience the kind of rest that your body needs and that you deserve. One of the #1 testimonies with the use of Genewize customized nutritional supplements is "better sleep". Why not you?

Leslie, I couldn't agree more! If I'm lazy all day because I'm malnourished, I can't sleep at night either. Not an obvious point, so well said! Love and Blessings, Daniel.

I'd never heard of poor nutrition linked to poor sleeping. But it makes sense. I did know not to drink coffee from about early afternoon on. It sounds like a little tuna or turkey sandwich on a slice of whole wheat ~ hold the mayo ~ with a warm glass of milk might be a good snack to have with the 10:00 news... then tuck in and go to bed.

Very informative lens.

I've often wondered if lack of proper nutrition was one of the reasons for sleep issues.
