I just heard about Nembutsu . I found really great to harmonize the minds of people with love and compassion , because in our days this are forgotten by long time ago.

I've got to say that the practice of Buddhism is starting to grow on me. He seemed like an enlightened fellow.

Shinran took this notion to its logical end point: the practice of Nembutsu does not in itself lead to rebirth in the Pure Land, rather it is Faith in Amida's saving power, which as a pure gift leads to salvation here and now in the present life.

Knowing very little about Buddhism and the practices within, I must say this sounds incredible. I have always thought that the Buddhist communities are much more connected with themselves and their faiths which is actually rather admirable. Thank you for sharing this. Nembutsu
