I agree with Keyes; America is in some sort of denial of consequences in thinking we can invent money from debt and give more power to the federal reserve over national value by bankrupting our future worth and going communistic to preserve those in power.

Obama seems to be being played by every money concern in this country to absorb their debt and shift it on to the backs of Americans. He is so egocentric that they seem to be able to fain economic losses and he rides in with our check book and hands them billions as they laugh all the way to their imperial safety nets off shore and in foreign banks with the cash.

Obama and the Pelosi/Reed leadership have sold out America for a chance at power by selling out the future into unmanageable debt and welcomed in the cloud of socialism and its exploitation with its corruption of value at the expense of everyone's liberty.

Saul Alinsky was one of my heroes and so is Barack Obama. I wore out a pair of shoes canvassing for Barack, so I'm thrilled to see community organizing come into its own. Whether Barack will be the great president he potentially is, only time will tell. I expect the Prophets of Doom like Jana to be proven wrong.

Thanks for visiting this controversial lens. Unfortunately, I believe the time has past for debating. Obama is just a continuation of the Bush regime, on steroids.... Independent "Free Speech" must prevail and continue to thrive.

Your lens surely raises some good points for debating!

"You will never understand bureaucracies until you understand that for bureaucrats procedure is everything and outcomes are nothing... One of the common failings among honorable people is a failure to appreciate how thoroughly dishonorable some other people can be, and how dangerous it is to trust them." I think NOW, one month (is that ALL?) into the new Administration some of these folks may be re-thinking their comments. HINT: Watch the "talking-heads" on the Financial networks who so favored the coming "progressive" administration: they are getting a deer-caught-in-the-headlights look as they continue to defend this rapid one-way, runaway Socialist Express Train. It's not just the new President. It's a total breakdown of Constitutional Government. It's a coup. It's over - it's done - Now we Americans will reap our harvest. I bear Mr. Obama no personal animus: "You get what you pay for."

The Unfairness Doctrine is a tool used by power dragons to suppress opposition. Those who claim to be the most tolerant are in reality the most intolerant!!! LMAO!

Do understand that the only people who are talking about the 'fairness doctrine' are the pundits on the right and the people who listen to them.

It's just a matter of time before "they" label speech that opposes their views "hate speech." Even Mike Savage said the other day he's waiting for Pelosi to shut him down under something like the "Fairness Doctrine." They want a country full of sheeple and useful idiots. Professional Cons know how important a dazzling smile is.....

I discovered this lens through my Facebook. I am still in shock. Not because you disagree with me when I think Obama will be a great president, but because of the anger and misuse of words. I was on a different account when I found it, but want to chime in under my name. Squidoo can be a forum for differing opinions, but..ande I quote you." and not on the fact that Obama IS the radical left?" That is an opinion and not a fact. Please know the difference.

You complain about 'attacks' on Sarah Palin. The criticisms are at least based on what she actually said and her actual lack of knowledge. She keeps herself in the limelight. Michelle Obama is not setting up boot camps. Please, be as against them as you can be. There must be people to watch and complain, Obama himself asks for this, but please, do not call fantasies fact. If you think she sounds like she is setting up boot camps, say so, but please not present that as fact.

How can someone read such a subjective lens objectively?

Jana, you've have done a great job. I am lensrolling this to my Expatriate-Living lens. It was the increasing interest in what could possibly happen in this country as a result of the last election that inspired me to research and write it. It seems to be getting a good bit of interest.

For my children and my grand children's sake, I hope much of the "promissed" change does NOT occur. I am personally checking out Panama in the next few months. Thanks for taking the time to do such an informative lens. Whatever the political stance of a reader, it still gives a foundation for further research, for both those who agree with you and those who don't.

I have witnessed through various squidoo lenses that we have both ultra liberals and ultra conservatives expressing their views. This speaks well for squidoo.com. I am glad to see both. That is what our country is about. I hope it remains so!

Outstanding lens, Jana. God bless you for boldly speaking forth TRUTH and standing for what is right and just. It's not always easy, as we know. You are making a difference! Sadly, too many Americans have blinders on their eyes and suffer from the spirit of deception or defeatism. He who forgets the lessons of history is bound to repeat them. And a nation which forgets its roots self-destructs. Not a pretty road... But we do NOT have to just lie down and take it! Our ancestors fought and died to give us this country and liberty, so are we so easily going to just hand it over?

I think you'll likely take some heat for this one, but so glad you put it together. Hope people read this objectively and make up their own minds. 5* and a blessing!
