You're excited by the opportunities of a Home based business and the brilliant compensation plan. You love the products and your Upline seem to offer fantastic help and support. You've been to a couple of introductory meetings and viewed several visually exciting videos telling you all about this marvellous company. You begin to visualise all the financial possibilities this Company can offer you - no more 9 till 5, financial freedom, the house you've always dreamed of, beautiful car in the driveway, expensive holidays, College education for your kids - and yes, you've practised the "sack your boss" speech in your head a million times now! You even see the expression on their face when you tell your boss that you're quitting!
You pin all your financial hopes and dreams on this wonderful Company - maybe this really is the one - maybe now, you really can make all your financial hopes and dreams come true! After all, the top earners in the Company make hundreds of thousands, even millions, in income each month, so why can't you?

You host a "Welcome to my New Internet Marketing Business" Party for friends and family. Now you're really committed because everyone now knows how you spend every minute of your spare time!

You reason that the initial investment required is not a drain on your existing finances - well, at least you can juggle your finances to make it happen - after all, this Company is going to make you rich!

So you order marketing tools from the Company - brochures, leaflets, flyers, booklets, DVD and CD supplements and also online marketing tools.
You've completed your Business Plan and listened in on a couple of Three Way Calls organised by your upline. "Ah yea", you say, "That's how it's done!"

So you purchase 2 - 3 sets of "good quality leads" from your Company so that you can start to build your business and realise your dreams - after all, you need to build your own downline to make those millions - and depending on which Network Marketing Company you're with, you can easily pay up to $9 per lead - more "Investment" into your business!
By now you realise that purchasing leads is part of your ongoing budget - and just like any other business, a network marketing business needs an ongoing budget for its survival. So how come your upline didn't tell you that?

You muster up courage to start calling your leads - and if you're fortunate enough to speak to 1 person out of 10, you follow your company's script, painstakingly uttering each word, hoping you won't get a slammed phone before you get to the end.
