Features of the Neuton Lawn Mower
Here's a few features of the Neuton lawn mower
The 5.2 and 6.3 Neuton lawn mower models are there to give you the power of a gas mower with an amazingly powerful 24 volt for the 5.2 and 36 volt for the 6.3 rechargeable battery. One fully charged battery will give you about 1 hour of cutting time, plenty for anyone to cut a small to medium size lawn. The great thing about the Neuton lawn mower is the ability to swap batteries, ensuring that you never have to worry about not having enough time to cut your lawn. The Neuton lawn mower is all about making a smaller impact on the environment and since these units use no oil and no gas that means no tune ups required. The Neuton models ensure that no harmful pollutants are being released into the air and the only money spent is the hydro used to charge the battery. Consider a normal gas mower, the average cost to run a gas mower for four cutting seasons (gas, oil, spark plugs, filters and tune ups) is around $260.00, the cost of recharging the Neuton lawn mower over four years is about $11.00!! Now that is some serious cost savings.
Multiple cutting options are another feature of the Neuton lawn mower that I think is really cool. The 3 in 1 option gives you the ability to keep the grass in the rear bag, use the side discharge chute or the mulching plug to mulch the grass and leave the clippings on the lawn. Mulching is one of the best ways to keep your lawn happy and healthy.
The Neuton lawn mower models 6.3 and 5.2 both fold up and store away with ease taking up less space then your conventional gas mower.

Neuton Lawn Mower Reviews
Before you go and spend your hard earned money on a Neuton Lawn Mower, check out what actual owners have to say...We have a LOT of lawn to mow, about 1/2 acre around our house, plus an orchard. Our lawn is on a hill. The orchard grass is tough and the ground is bumpy. We used to mow with a 4.5 HP "big wheel" mower, so doubted that an electric mower could do the job. But we needed a new mower and I saw the Neuton ads offering a "free" 6-month trial, money back guarantee. It was tempting! I've always hated our gas mowers' stinky exhaust, and recently have become concerned about the pollution factor. The reason I'm writing this review is to express my total, utter delight, because we have had our Neuton 6.3 for a month now, and it is like a dream come true. It does the job as well as any gas mower we ever had. I mow the orchard, I mow the lawn, I mow all along the road... and I finally run out of grass to mow... but I just can't run that 36-VOLT battery down! Marcy Neilson, Jackson, Idaho, USA
For several years we used an old-fashioned reel mower on our lawn but a couple years ago we bought a new house that had a disaster of a lawn. It's small but is one hill down to the street and was weedy as heck. The reel mower just wasn't doing a good job and my body wasn't happy with all the strain of pushing that reel mower through the rough patches. After months of research we decided on the Neuton CE 6.3.
It was a pricey purchase for us but well worth it.
Our lot is less than 1/2 acre and it only takes me 20-25 minutes to mow, and that includes emptying the bag twice. I only mow every 10-14 days so it does fill up twice but emptying it is super easy. I don't mulch as I am allergic to grass and can't have it touching me at all. The bag does a good job of sucking up all the grass--if you pay attention to the sound of the mower, you can tell when it is getting full. We sprayed under the deck with cooking spray and haven't had any problem with clogging.
The neighbours like that it is quiet. Even if they are walking their dogs on the sidewalk three feet from the mower, the dogs do not get scared of the noise.
I like that I don't have to deal with gas, which gives me headaches. I am just a smidge over 5 feet tall and find the adjustable handle height fits me well. I have no problem moving the mower across the yard even though it is not self-propelled. Actually, I am not even tired when I finish mowing the grass but don't tell the hubby that! He thinks it is the worst chore ever and will volunteer to do many chores to get out of mowing.
I can mow three times before I have to recharge. I also like that I can actually pick the mower up and move it between our vehicles in the garage easily. No way would a gas mower fit in such a tight spot.
I have mowed our yard since May 09 and have not had any problems with the mower at all. For us, it was pricey but well worth it. C. LaCook, Cleveland, Ohio, USA
When I first received my Neuton last season, I was a little disappointed because the key kept popping out and the mower lacked some power. After talking with Neuton, it was determined that there was some damage to the electrical key receptacle during shipment and they shipped me a replacement part. Since then, the mower works just as good as my Sears self-propelled mower, is quieter, and does not required any gas, oil, or tune-ups prior to the mowing season. I highly recommend this mower and get positive comments on it all of the time. I even have had professional lawn service personnel inquire about my mower and a neighbor has purchased one after seeing my success with it over the past year. Just buy one.....you'll love it too!
