Body Centered Meditation
Sensations have a purpose. The body creates them to send signals to the mind. If you're more aware of the sensations of the body, you are less in your head.
And there are meditation techniques that are less in the head and more in the body (hence, the purpose of this lens).

In my opinion, BCM is better than other types of meditation because it is more whole person focused (body, mind, and spirit). Also they techniques are easier to follow because they need your mind to do things- visualize and imagine.)
Be curious about this style. It's innovative and new to awareness. But be sure to try it out- your body will thank you!

Many people are afraid to live in their bodies. They think that there will be many suppressed feelings that will be painful to experience.The suppressed feelings will probably be there but realize that feelings are only feelings. They come and go- quickly. So if you're scared about feelings that might hurt, it's okay, they won't hurt for long.
This is what is beautiful about Body Centered Meditation. It teaches you what was described above and how to better listen to the needs of your body. Have you ever heard "The body never lies." It's true and if you know how to listen to what your body says, you will live in abundant health!
