    Hi, Dave! I've only visited beautiful New Mexico once. It was about thirty years ago. I got to visit Albuquerque and Sante Fe. It was my first visit out of my native South and I rode around New Mexico with my mouth open in slack-jawed amazement. New Mexico was so different from anyplace I had ever seen and the beauty of the state was stunnng. It's been all too long since that visit...I must go back...it's on my bucket list. All the best!

    Davespeed - don't forget to put Taos on your list during your next visit - the Sangre de Christo mountains are certainly worth the trip.

    I'm Canadian, and we recently took a long road trip which included driving through New Mexico from I-40, south to I-10. It was absolutely beautiful and a part of the trip we loved. We will definitely return, and this lens will help guide us through things to see, thank you!

    I learned how to make the Navajo fry bread and a pork verde stew while I visited there. To this day I still make it. I love to travel and today I'm computer chair traveling on a Squid Angel Road Trip for Memorial Day weekend. I am leaving you with a Squid Blessing and I also added you to a featured lens module for my Memorial Day journey at My Squid Angel Wings.

    Howdy pardner ... I had contemplated recently the possibility of moving that way ... but vetoed it to stay in the state of Florida. Looks lovely to visit though!

    I love New Mexico! I live in Southern Colorado and often drive down there for the weekend and on occasion, just for dinner. The El Pinto in Albuquerque is worth the 4 hour drive south for me! Some of the best New Mexican food you can have!

    Extremely informative! I lived in NM for several years and loved it. Thanks for clearing up some of those common misconceptions... number 1 being that NM is actually a state. ha!

    Aaahhh New Mexico, Land of the Gods and land of my heart! Sometime ask me about the time my brother got stuck on the firetower on Mt. Baldy waiting for the bear to get bored and go away!

    Hola Mariano! Como estas? To Lens-roll... You just go to the left side of any lens you really would like to link to (especially if it's sort of pertinent to your own lens!--helps with the Google ratings!)--click on the "Smiley Face" Lensroll Option in the left column. Then add it to whichever lenses you'd like to link to in your own listings. At least it works for me! Best reqards--I'm still learning about this Squidoo thing, but it's really *Addictive* (as you can tell by all my other lenses!)... Also, if you have "Attention Deficit Disorder"--this is a perfect place to play with all your interests! (again, as you can tell by all my other lenses!). Well, gotta run... esta later...
