There are alot of different things to checkout. For the seller there are FREE stores with no limit on the product. You get better exposure when you list in "Both" the auctions and in your store. The front page feature is ONLY is a dime and when you sell something, in most cases it is only cost a dime. For more on Fees please check the "site Fees" which can be found in the top right hand corner of the site.

In the forum you will find alot of good people that will help you if you need it. It is also the place where to meet some that sell and buy in HiBidder. Normally there is atleast one contest or event going on each month and they are always posted in the forum. Great way to meet and sell through the contest, Weekend Challenge first of each month or the Penny Pincher which HiBidder has about twice a year. Or you just go in there to relax and play a game with someone, or just a simple Good Morning.

We also have a newsletter that has everything that is going on in it for those don't have the time to go the forum. If you would like your store put up the directions are on the Store page on the newsletter. There are Best Buys that everyone likes. If you have something you would like to be put up as a Best Buy just go into the forum and list it under Shameless Plugs. Best Buys are out by every Friday, so you need to get them in no later than Wednesday.

We've instigated a new promotion to earn site credits that all sellers can get involved in. This will depend on how many items you have listed on HiBidder for a continuous 3 month period. Adding items will give you more credits.
For example: If you have 100 or more items listed for 3 months, you will only get 100 site credits until you reach 250 items listed and then another 100 credits will be added to your account. Easy enough to remember and have fun with!
If you use the Bulk Lister or start a blog you will receive a 10,000 banner rotation along with the site credits.
100 credits for 100-249 items
A total of 200 credits for 250-499 items
A total of 300 credits for 500-699 items
A total of 400 credits for 700-999 items
A total of 500 credits for 1000 items or more.

You can find the Bulk Lister in your Members Area also. A great tool for keeping track of what you list.
Seller and Buyer can chat privately back and forth after the auction closes in the auction.

Buyer & Seller
For the buyer, the prices are cheaper. They are that way because seller doesn't have to pay for listings. Great commucation is needed from both the buyer and seller. If the seller doesn't contact you, it is always good to contact them. Keep the commucations going and there are less problems. Please leave feedback when buying or selling. It is the only way the next person can tell about the seller or buyer.
Customer Service
HiBidder prides itself in excellent customer service. There are different places through out the site to ask any questions. Please be patient with the answer. We aren't always online so we have to come online to answer you. Another way to find answers is to join the forum and at times your answer is already answered in the "Help Desk". Still can't find the answer, you will see a list of names of moderators on the left side of the forum. Clck on any of them and send a private messege to them.

When did you start selling online?
I've been on ebay since my middle child was a baby - maybe 8 years selling "thrift shop finds" aka JUNK! More recently 3 years this coming November Your Quiet Retreat was my creation and became an e commerce site for relaxation items such as candles, teas, soaps, and other special buys as I run across them
How long have you been with HiBidder?
Wow, this is my first full month, and I am absolutely floored to be honored so soon!
What do you sell?
In addition to items from the YQR line, I like to visit the thrift stores, tag sales and the like. Basically, anything I can get my hands on, except maybe my kids, but you never know, even they might show up one of these days!! I'm guessing I could be suspended for that tho, so maybe not!
What are your hobbies?
I love to read, make needlecrafts, gardening (right now I am cultivating a lovely plot of weeds), playing the HiBidder Arcade (addict).
If you had something to share with the people on HiBidder about yourself, what would it be?
Never take me seriously - I love a good joke and a good laugh. Tonight I was reminded how short and precious life can be, unfortunately. Why spend it stressed out and serious? HAVE FUN - laughing is a great way to relax, and relaxation is what YQR was founded on.
Do you have any advice for someone just starting on HiBidder?
Don't be afraid to ask questions, even if you think they are dumb or something you probably should know, or shouldn't ask. The people here are a friendly bunch, and very helpful. Oh, and the bulkloader is your friend, but be careful with it, it can be just as destructive as it is helpful. Don't upload everything you sell all at once - spread them out a little. Flooding the auction with a gazillion of the same things makes those browsing get bored. Upload 5 or 10 of this, then 5 or 10 of that, then a little later more of this - mix things up. Variety IS the spice of life - keep your customers interest.

You can play off of up to 4 cards at a time or only one it is up to each member. They will be downloadable or sent to all members that are playing. You can ONLY get the cards before the game(s) start. After someone has hit BINGO you can either keep the same card or ask for another one if you would like one. But you have to ask we will give a day between games so you can ask if you want.
All that sign up can donate a small one time prize that someoene else would win. Please post how much the prize will be. The winner has to pay 25% of the won items value for shipping, the total shipping price cannot exceed 25% of the items value.

Rain what is Good for?Why rain is good for us.It helps the farmers. Anyone living in a state that depends on it's farmers to do good then you will find a state that enjoys rains. It means money later. Things will grow and all in the state will be rich for it.
Just like an auction site if one does good it follows. But it isn't only up to one person but all members. They are the rain in the auction site. They help each other and make things better for everyone. When only a few are doing things to help out all then it will be lean year. For as a state depends on its farmers to do good, the auction site depends on it buyers and sellers to do good.
In the state everyone helps the farmer so the crop they grow will be abundt. It is up to the members to see that all are making the rain happen. If that is helping someone out in a auction listing or just dropping by the forum to say " hi how it's going". Learn how to advertise don't depend on others to do it for you. Learn how to talk to each other on any subject.
Be that rain that the auction site needs to grow. And with all rain every once in a while a thunderstorm comes with it. Try to be patient and have not many thunderstorms. Alot of wind can destory what you are trying to do.

You can google on how to promote your store and all will say mostly the same. It is up to the seller to make their self known and what they sell. No one knows unless you advertise and no one can do it better than the owner of the store.
To make money online you first have to get traffic to your store. In order to do that you have to make yourself known. It's not only one thing but a few things together that will bring people to see your store. And it isn't something you only do once and hope people will find it. Atricles suggests that you make it a habit atleast one hour a day. There are many ways you can do that.
Online Adverstiving
Many are free like putting your banner to your store on your signature in your email and/or forums. Join advertising groups.
Writing an Article
Post it in your blog, lense, website or in the forums.
Offline Advetrtising
Business cards is a great way.
Newsletter
Word Of Mouth
