Cherrybomb2009 / Nina Lee's Lensography - Lenses, Blogs & Websites

Ranked #606 in Me, #85,923 overall

About This Lensography...

I decided it was finally time to create a lensography. For those of you unfamiliar with this Squidoo term, a lensography is just a lens featuring a group of other lenses. This is a main lensography, meaning it features ALL of my lenses available right now. I've divided them up by category, though a few of them stand alone at the moment.

Also included are my other websites, blogs, and my Zazzle webstore. No, they're not ALL lenses, but you'll find that they have a similar theme to my lenses, namely trendy & unusual fashion/style and life goals. Scroll down for the details...

But first, a little more about me and my Squidoo adventure...

Why I Joined Squidoo... And Why I'm Still Here

Simply put, I initially joined Squidoo to promote my Zazzle store, Diva's Designs. I had read about Squidoo in the Zazzle forum and decided to check it out and give it a try.

But after looking around a bit, I found that I could & should write about more than just my Zazzle store. So I started to foray into writing about things I liked, namely fashion & shopping, which is what most of my lenses consist of. But the lens that got the most attention was my bucket list lens, which you'll see further down the page. I was somewhat surprised that so many people would take interest in my personal to-do list.

That, along with other people lenses & suggestions, is what has made me decide that I should try and create some lenses about thing other than just fashion/shopping. I plan to write about everything that interests & affects me. So in the future, I plan on writing lenses about music, veganism, maybe a few out-of-the-box Christian-themed lenses, and more.

So be watching for those upcoming lenses. For now, you can check out the lenses I currently have below...

Fashion Lenses

I love red hair and envy redheads. I envy pink-haired people, too. I also like cherry print clothing and cute cherry images. I find scene culture very interesting and inspiring. And I love designing my own clothing & accessories-- online. And so, my fashion likes and loves have inspired the following lenses...

Red Plaid / Tartan Fashion Lenses

I originally created my first red plaid lens just to promote my Red Plaid Rock product line from my Zazzle store, Diva's Designs (more on that later). But I ended up creating 3 more lenses to go with it. Check them out below...

Pink Plaid / Tartan Lenses

The same goes for these pink plaid lenses. I originally created the first just to promote the pink plaid products in my Pink Punk product line from my Zazzle store, Diva's Designs (module below about that). But I ended up creating 2 more lenses to go with it. See below...

My Zazzle Store Lens

Pop Punk Buttons Pins Accessories on Diva's Designs ToteAlong with Squidoo, one of my other online projects is my Zazzle store, Diva's Designs. I currently have 6 product lines, with two holiday product lines in the works. I always welcome suggestions & constructive criticism about my store products-- anything to help me improve my store. Check out the lens and leave feedback, or you can go directly to the Diva's Designs webstore on Zazzle and leave comments & feedback there.

You can check out some of my designs in the following Zazzle module.

Tote pictured was bought from Vistaprint. All the buttons on the tote are from my Diva's Designs store.

Specialty Lenses

I will definitely have more lenses to add here in the coming weeks. But for now, it's just my brand new pink lensography...

People Lenses

These are lenses on people I admire for one thing or another. I'll be adding a few more in the future...

Health Lenses

I plan on creating more health related lenses, including vegan & food allergy-themed lenses. For now though, I have only one lens in this category.

The first lens below discusses options for people who have egg allergies and can't or haven't yet gotten the H1N1 / Swine Flu vaccine. It includes details about who to contact (local allergist, health dept.), what to ask for (allergy testing, transportation of a vial of the vaccine, etc.) and what an egg-allergic person can do if they can't get the vaccine (wash hands, gargle with salt water, etc). I created this lens after having my own diffcult experience with trying get the H1N1 / Swine Flu vaccine (I have an egg allergy as well).

The second lens is a breast cancer lensography, featuring all the most relevant lenses about the disease. I decided to create it after finding dozens of breast cancer lenses and realizing that anyone wanting to research a specific area (or areas) related to breast cancer would have to do a really extensive search on Squidoo. But now, they can just come to this lens, and they'll like find whatever it is they're looking for. (If they don't, they can leave a note in the guestbook so that I or someone else can create a lens about it.)

My Bucket List / Life Wish List Lens

If you really want to get to know all about me, my likes, desires and so on, this is the lens to read. This is my online bucket list-- an extensive list of things I want to do before I kick the bucket. And a lot of people seem to really like this lens. This lens was Lens of the Day December 31, 2009 and New Years Day 2010. I find that somewhat symbolic, because as soon as I'm able to complete more things from this list, it will be the end of the dissapointing chapter I'm living out right now and the beginning of a bright, new chapter. I can write more interesting lenses about myself, and I'll have positive things to blog about for my Cherry Ambition blogs (more info on that in the next module). For now, unfortunately, it's just a wish list. But perhaps it will inspire you to create your own bucket list and check some items off of it.

Okay, enough talk. Go check it out!

Cherry Ambition Blogs

Cherry Ambition logo (do NOT use for sale)

The Cherry Ambition blogs listed here are actually all the same blog posted on different websites. (Sounds weird, I know, but it means more availability, and a better chance that more people will see & read the blog.) My intention is for this blog is to be about the interesting, unusual, fun and inspiring things I'm doing with my life on a day-to-day basis. I'm hoping to add interesting and colorful photos, as well as some YouTube vlog videos. And in writing about these things (which will include things from my bucket list lens), I hope to inspire as well entertain those reading.

For the moment, though, I am not posting any new journal entries on any of these blogs because I have nothing to blog about that people would want to read. I'm still unemployed, and not enjoying my living arrangments at the moment. And I can't blog about that in an entertaining way. (If I could, I might try it, but I'm not quite that funny.) But as soon as I have interesting, enjoyable stuff to write about, I will. And I'll update this module to reflect that.

To read the entry/entries that are up, you can click on any one of the following links:

My YouTube Channel, Twitter & Buzznet Pages

Mostly self-explanatory, but still a few things to note...

YouTube - Youtube.com/user/Diva380 (NOTE: The web address may be changed in the future.)
About the YouTube page-- in the future, I hope to upload some vlogs (video blogs) and original clips to my YouTube. Right now, I don't have a decent webcam for vlogs, and I don't have the money for one, but I do have a digital camera that record videos as well. Hopefully one day soon, I'll have something worth videotaping. For now though, you can check out my YouTube for the playlists, with titles such as Rocker's Paradise, Venus-Pop Rock, the Best of Paramore (with concert vids coming soon), and more.

Twitter - Twitter.com/NinaLee_CherryB
My Twitter page is just that, but I do have several lists you can follow/subscribe to, such as vegan Twitter pages, fashion & beauty Twitter pages, 24 Twitter pages (for fans of the FOX show 24), and more.

Buzznet - NinaLeeCherryAmbition.Buzznet.com
Buzznet is sort of like Facebook and MySpace meets MTV.com. It has articles about bands and celebrities, as well as links to their Buzznet pages. But users also have profiles, which they can decorate/design anyway they want to reflect their personalities. Users can post journal entries, links, videos, pictures, along with their own self-written profile.
And because users can have all these things on their pages, I created an account so I could do the same. Most of what I'm linking to on this page is also featured on my Buzznet page if it fits the website's vibe (like I said, Facebook and MySpace meets MTV.com). So unlike this lens, I don't plan on linking to ALL of my lenses on my Buzznet page. And I will have to build a following, just like I do here on Squidoo. But despite all that, I would still say Buzznet is quite useful. So check out my page (which I will be overhauling in the future), visit some other Buzznet pages to see what else is available as far as content and design, and see if it works for you, too.

Questions, Critiques, Compliments & Suggestions

Thanks so much! I think your one of maybe 10 people who've ever read this lens, lol. People mostly just go straight to the lenses themselves. But yes, I do plan on adding some more lenses in the near future. Trying to complete & publish at least 1 lens a week from now till the end of the year...

Nice to know more about you through your lensography. Red is not one of my favorite colors- too bold for me,lol. I am more of a blue kind of person.
