Nintendo DSi Review

So let me tell you a little about the Nintendo DSi Console. In a nutshell, it is a high powered computerized gaming system that is packed into a sleek and futuristic console to give your child a unique and exciting gaming experience.

The Nintendo DSi is the next generation system and can do so much more than the previous versions. For instance, it has a larger screen but with a slimmer and more portable case. Other features that will interest your child is it can snap photos with the built in cameras. Play music with excellent quality audio components. And your child can browse the Internet with the build in browser.

But of course, the main purpose of the Nintendo DSi Consoles is to play electronic games. Truly, this console does it all...

Another thing about this unit... it comes in different colors. The girl's love pink. The boys love the Black Nintendo DSi, as well as blue or white too.

But there is more. The DSi comes with 2 built in digital cameras that allows pictures to be taken and then uploaded to share with your friends. These cameras are state of the art and a lot of engineering went into them for you. One camera is an external camera that points away from you and the other points at you. It is just a way to give the users different ways to interact with their games. My understanding is that the Nintendo engineers are busy thinking up new ways to take advantage of the unique cameras to provide a more creative gaming experience!

This console also has an awesome audio sound system. You have the ability to change and play music.

But of course the major reason kids LOVE the new Nintendo DSi console is because of the electronic games. Not only there are new DSi games available, most of the earlier games played on the DS model, CAN be played on the newer DSi model!!

So if you are upgrading from DS to DSi... there is a excellent chance the newer console can play the older games. But if you want the newer games that are specifically made for the newer console, then you can download them easily.

The first is the DSi 22-In-1 Deluxe Starter Kit which comes in pink, white or black so you can "match" with the color of the console. This kit has 4 screen protectors and a camera lens protector too. It also has 3 styluses and a pair of headphones so your child can listen to his music quietly. You also get a car adapter for traveling, a docking station, cleaning cloth plus a wrist strap. And finally, it includes a protective travel case and four game cases too! This is a very good idea to protect your investment because children have been known to have accidents with their stuff.
