From the lens Transform Your Life with Nonviolent Communication.

I most liked your pockets of text where you summarize or just comment on NVC. I'm thinking of doing one stateside, smaller in scope, perhaps, than yours.

I saw Marshall Rosenberg lead off an introductory session by singing and playing a little guitar of some sort. It was a simple song not sung well, but it didn't matter. He connected. In that sense it was like poetry. It's OK to disagree.

Another interesting aspect of all this conflict resolution and needs clarification: the most needful area was mothers wanting to connect, wanting to learn how to better communicate with their kids.

Thanks for this lens. It meets my need for reassurance and peace.

Thanks very much for your comment. I find being with Marshall meets my need for reassurance. He just does not seem to care about how silly he may appear to anybody else!

The more I use non-violent communication, the more successful my life is.

Excellent insights Zhana. I really like the idea of communication through empathy. When we communicate by paying attention to others' needs we can get out of the way and learn from their rich experience. It's amazing what we can get out of communication when we're not stepping all over it.

Zhana, this is an important lens, and one that I would love to include in Healing from Abuse
Please consider submitting it when you get a chance. :)

Great Lens Zhana. More people should study, heed, and practice the concept of nonviolent communication so we can all get on with the business of creating a more harmonious and mutually supportive world community.
