I was lucky; I received the first two books together and read them back to back. The only drawback I had was waiting for almost a year to read the final book, The Pagan Stone. The Story Begins

The story begins in Hawkins Hallow, a Maryland Province. The date is July 7, 1652. The main characters of the prologue are Giles Dent, Ann Hawkins, Lazarus Twisse and Hester Dale. The events at Hawkins Hallow in 1652 of this prologue bounds the lives of three boy hood friends, Caleb, Fox, and Gage. Ironically, all three boys are born on July 7, 1977 and at the same moment. In 1987, on the their tenth birthday, the three boys decide to camp out at Pagan Stone. The camping trip experience at Pagan Stone changes events at Hawkins Hallow. So as the story goes every seven years, on July 7, 1994, July 7, 2001 and July 7, 2008 strange and evil events occur, lasting seven days, known by the town as "The Seven." Finally, the three men are joined by three women, Quinn, Layla, and Cybil who also share a connection to Hawkins Hallow. In the Pagan Stone there is a surprising ending to this story. Someone is going to have to sacrifice their life but it is---nah, I won't give out the hint!
