Norman Rockwell
When I was in college my parents moved to a new house. In that house you'd find only two things hanging on the walls; pictures of me (I'm an only child), and Norman Rockwell art. My mom really liked his work and she starting collecting prints and figurines of his when she had a new house to decorate for. I like it too. It just seems so honest and real.
Here I've compiled info about Mr. Rockwell as well as a variety of art and collectibles for sale.

Learn More about Norman Rockwell
Norman Percevel Rockwell (February 3, 1894 - November 8, 1978) was a 20th-century American painter and illustrator. His works enjoy a broad popular appeal in the United States for their reflection of American culture. Rockwell is most famous for the cover illustrations of everyday life scenarios he created for The Saturday Evening Post magazine for more than four decades. Among the best-known of Rockwell's works are the Willie Gillis series, Rosie the Riveter (although his Rosie was reproduced less than others of the day), Saying Grace (1951), The Problem We All Live With, and the Four Freedoms series. He is also noted for his work for the Boy Scouts of America (BSA); producing covers for their publication Boys' Life, calendars, and other illustrations.

- I've always liked the personality Rockwell put into his paintings. You've included a lot of my favorites. I inherited a lot of the plates, and my brother got the bell collection. I didn't have enough room for all the collector plates we inherited from both mothers, so I gave the non-Rockwells to local thrift shops. I kept my favorite Rockwells.

- Ah - these scenes bring back many wonderful memories, especially of regularly checking out the covers of "The Saturday Evening Post" my grandparents subscribed to. I've loved Norman Rockwell's art every since. I actually own a jigsaw puzzle of the print "THE RUNAWAY", another fun and interesting way to appreciate and enjoy these great works of art.

- Wonderful presentation, the overall layout is attractive and informative at once!
Didn't know much about Mr Rockwell except that his art makes me thinks to those simpler times our grandparents use to talk about!
