What is the Northern VA region?
Officially, the Northern VA region is quite large and encompasses approximately 12 counties. However, many consider the upmost portions of VA that hug the DC line to be the "real" Northern VA region. This area includes Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties. The majority of folks in these counties work in one of the major industries that keep the Nation's Capital clicking.While the other counties that officially make up Northern VA are situated in the northern tip, they are considered more rural and do not offer as much as the aforementioned counties.
For this reason, The NOVA Hub focuses on Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties. They are brimming with unique community events, concerts, local eating favorites and volunteer opportunities. Check it out and find your place in this thriving environment!
