It is not an MLM (multi-level marketing)...only product is sold, never 'memberships for the right to sell' and there are no pyramids involved. This company is a corporate member of the DSWA (Direct Selling Women's Alliance). Your level of commision from the company is always 35% to 40% and will not change based on how many, if any, recruits you have or how much product you sell. There are no selling or recruiting quotas.
