HERE'S WHAT I THINK
I can't make a lens in just ten minutes!
I know you say make a lens. It takes only ten minutes. BUT, with dial-up, and me wanting to make perfect lenses, there's NO WAY MonkeyBrain, that I can make a real good lens in just ten minutes!

After two years of Squidoo experience, I say yup to "you can get a great start in 10 minutes." You get a feel for what you want to say, which modules you want to add and in which order, and what you know you'll need to wait until later to do. I'll sit down and crank out 80% of my material in 10 minutes, and fine tuning it, of course, is an ongoing process. ;)

Well, I have JUST got to weigh in on this great debate. Two and a half years ago I actually made a lens in just ten minutes -- ha, my first one through BzzAgent. BUT, I didn't know then what it was all about ... you see, I was clueless in Jacksonville. Today, sure I can START a good lens in just ten minutes, but I do not publish it until it is ready for primetime which can mean 3-4-8 hours at the minimum and then a few days to add additional content and thoughts!

I just don't believe it ~ not a complete lens with no writing errors or goofs somewhere. Nope, absolutely can't be done. (For anyone who says a completed lens is possible in 10 minutes or less (not a good start, a done one!), I wanna' see it. C'mon... come to my house and prove it to me. :-) (Hey! Road trip!)
