So Much For So Little
Posted by Dave Gray, Founder and CEO of Online Business Alliance
There are three things that prevent most people from having a business of their own... money, skill, and time.
I am extremely proud of what we've been able to put together as an opportunity for people who might not have a lot of money to invest in starting their own business, or who may lack the technical or business skills necessary to build and run a successful business, or who simply don't have the time needed to manage a traditional business.
OBA's perfect blend of Network Marketing and Internet Technology provides an environment where anyone who is willing to read, learn, and work can start with almost no risk ($5), practically no skills, and very little time... and gradually build a business capable of generating a life-changing income.
Of all the different business models I'm familiar with, I know of no other that provides so much for so little... or holds the potential to help so many.
I'm proud to have you with me on this amazing journey!

Dave

Fetching RSS feed... please stand byNo Pay-To-Surfs
Although all Pay-To-Surfs try to hide behind the fact that they provide advertising, they are illegal ponzi schemes and any threads or posts promoting Pay-To-Surfs in the OBC will be deleted.
Why? Because I never want to learn that someone came to the OBC seeking "reliable information and honest answers" from "Friends and Partners" who he trusted to Mb>help him/her achieve his goals... and got tangled up in a ponzi scheme as a result. If you want to advertise in a Pay-To-Surf, that's entirely up to you.
If you feel that earning money in a Pay-To-Surf is good for you and your business, that's your decision.
And if you have the extra money to play with and don't mind the risk, good luck.
But if you think for a minute that you've found a Pay-To-Surf program that isn't a ponzi scheme, either you've been fooled or you're fooling yourself.

And if you think ponzi schemes are harmless, you're wrong. For every winner there are many losers, and most of the time the losers are there because they believed something that simply isn't the truth.
"These returns are not unusual when skilled investors have millions of dollars to invest"
"We also sell advertising, software, and other products to help support the program"
"We've been in business for years and are just now making our expertise available on the Internet"
"This is a 'private investment club' and that's why we can offer such high returns"
"Since we also return your principal, the actual returns are reasonable"
"This program is designed to last for years"
These lies and many others are designed to take money from people who know little about investing. Such people are usually the very people who can least afford to lose money to such scams.

Here are a few things you might want to think about...
2.) I'd like to see everyone succeed... but that's not going to happen. It's impossible, and I know it. But that won't stop me from doing everything I can to help YOU succeed if you want to, and one of the best ways I can help you succeed is to make OBA the best business it can possibly be.
3.) In order to make OBA the best business it can possibly be, I need to rely on other people to help me. I need the best, most committed people I can find. Why would anyone expect me to rely on anyone except our best, most committed Business Owners to help me make OBA the best business it can possibly be?
4.) To succeed in any business, you train everyone and then you look for your Leaders. Every successful business is structured so that the strongest rise to the top and the weakest fall out the bottom. A business that's structured to keep everyone will fail... because the strongest will leave.
5.) Five years from now we'll have a few very wealth Business Owners, quite a few wealthy Business Owners, and thousands of Business Owners who consider themselves successful. Where you are five years from now will be determined by the choices you make today. Deciding to postpone a decision is still a decision.
Where will you be in five years?
The Boulder and the Hill...
But you can't just walk up the hill... you must roll a boulder up the hill.
Some people look at the hill and decide it's too high. Some look at the boulders and decide they're too heavy. But you decide that your goals are important... so you choose a boulder and you start pushing that boulder up the hill.
After a bit you look around and notice someone else pushing a boulder up the hill... and he doesn't seem to be working as hard as you are. You look at his boulder...you look at your boulder... and you begin to think that his boulder must be lighter than yours. So you step aside, let your boulder roll back down to the bottom of the hill, and you follow it down to see if you can find a lighter boulder.
You select a different boulder... one that seems much lighter than your first one... and you start back up the hill.
After a while you become tired. This is work! You begin to wonder if there might have been a lighter boulder... or one that was more round. Other people don't seem to be working this hard. Surely they must have found the lighter boulders.
So you step aside, let your boulder roll back down to the bottom of the hill, and you follow it down to see if you can find a lighter boulder.
That's what we see so often on the Internet. Bill chooses a business and starts to build his business. He's doing everything he can... but it's slow going.
Then he opens his emails or begins earning credits in a Traffic Exchange and what's he see? "I'm Earning $1,000 A Day After Just Three Weeks and You Can Too!"... and... "Guaranteed! Flood Your PayPal with Insane Money While You Sleep!"
So what does Bill do? He does what people always do... he begins to doubt himself. "Did I make the right decision?" "Did I choose the right business?"Then he steps aside, lets his boulder roll back down to the bottom of the hill, and follows it down to see if he can find
The Boulder and the Hill...
Cont'd
Some of those emails and websites are so cleverly written that they have convinced people that it's not only easier, but actually necessary to roll more than one boulder up the hill at the same time! Imagine that!
But the truth is this... the person who sent that email isn't "Earning $1,000 A Day After Just Three Weeks". The person who's advertising that you can "Flood Your PayPal with Insane Money While You Sleep!"... can't.
They're just doing what they've been told to do. They're trying to sell the same lie they were sold. They're both about three days from letting their boulder roll back down the hill so they can go look for a lighter one.
If you want to succeed... if you ever want to reach the top of that hill with your boulder... you have to be willing to do two things...
1.) Choose a boulder and make a commitment that you're going to get THAT boulder to the top... not a bunch of boulders... not some other boulder... THAT boulder. Which boulder you choose isn't important. The hill is what's important and getting ANY boulder up the hill is going to require WORK!
2.) Help other people roll their boulder up the hill. When people work alone, they fail alone. When people work as a Team, they succeed as a Team.
When people combine their strengths and talents and add encouragement and support... impossible tasks become completed tasks. If you can do those two things, you're going to be amazed at how easy rolling a boulder up a hill really is. As more and more people join your Team, and more and more people reach up to push your boulder, your boulder will start to roll faster and easier. Then you'll begin to notice your boulder rolling even when you stop to rest. Then you'll realize that you couldn't stop your boulder even if you wanted to!
Focus and Teamwork. Teamwork and Focus. That's how you roll boulders up a hill!
