The 2008 Outer Banks marathon is being held on Veterans Day weekend, November 9, 2008. Looking for a great way to get some fresh air and a little exercise? The marathon, half marathon and fun run are open to all. This marathon is walker friendly. So if you're looking for a place to try your first event, look no further. The temperate climate of the Outer Banks often lends a hand to great race weather.

Saturday, November 8th: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Special Notes: EXPO closes at 6 PM on Saturday. Extended packet pick-up until 8 PM.

About the event: A family friendly event where kids and adults can run and walk for the fun of it! Click here if you would like a log sheet to keep track of your 25 miles before race day, then run your last 1.2 miles to finish a marathon.
