Crazy 8 - A Lens About 8
One morning I was trying to sleep in and my mind was swimming with 8's. 8 IS Enough, Crazy 8s, 8 Track players, well...you get the picture. I tried to put this out of my mind and throughout the morning I was still feeling abducted by 8s. So, I decided to make this lens. The mind swimming subsided as soon as I created the artwork for 08-08-08 @08:08 ... hope you enjoy this as much as I have. Well, AFTER it was done, I have enjoyed it very much. :D
One moment in time (repeated around the globe - in every time zone), will mark a vortex in time that will be remembered and talked about for any where between 8 minutes, 8 days, 8 weeks, or 8 months. And if the moment is even more brilliant, we will be talking about it for 8 years or 800 years maybe! This fun lens is about 8's (eights). It is also about creating a moment of pure unity all around our planet.
So, mark your calendars and pass this around, let us all join together in one minute of brilliant unity.

Why Eight?
On August 8, 2008, at 08:08 (military time for 8AM) there is going to be an 'OoooooHHHHH' and an "Awe" resonating all around the planet.
Why?
Because we are facinated by THE vortex in time , while time is generally impossible to grasp, for one full minute (several times - due to time zone differences around the world), humanity will have captured a moment in time and it will be something to talk about for any where between 8 minutes, 8 days, 8 weeks, or 8 months. And if the moment is even more brilliant, we will be talking about it for 8 years or maybe even 800 years!
So...
I have gathered together all of the famous 8's that I could find. As many famous titles, famous lines, games, and more, to instill this infamous moment in history in our minds.
And remember...
on August 8, 2008 at 8AM in your time zone, simply stop for a minute and say "Awe" or "Ohhh" or "Wow, I guess she was right!"

jewelsofawe, yes, I have heard of 11:11 and 2012 as well. (I have a 2012 website in the works - well Beyond 2012 actually). shhhhh... it is still under construction. I also find it very interesting that on most days I wake up at 2:22am and want to take the rest of the day off at 2:22pm. I wonder if my internal clock is that good, or something else draws my attention to those times even as I sleep?
