What is OOAK?
OOAK is an acronym for One Of A Kind.
It is used in all crafts and art forms to designate something as being unique and unlike anything else.
Artists now use it as an art category unto itself, to help collectors and potential buyers to know that the piece is the only one like it in the world.

- My cat, Henry is a one-of-a-kind artist. He makes wall hangings out of pieces of carpet I nail to the wall for him to scratch. This summer, his work was on display at the Bangor, Maine Public Library.
Henry has his own Squidoo Lense here. It features a short video documentary about Henry and his work, as well as a few close-up photos of his wall hangings.
