Scientists were creating obese mice and rats to use in diet or diabetes test studies. They make these morbidly obese mice by injecting them with a chemical when they are first born. The MSG triples the amount of insulin the pancreas creates, causing rats (and humans?) to become obese. They even have a title for the race of fat rodents they create: "MSG-Treated Rats" .

So why is MSG in so may of the foods we eat? Is it a preservative or a vitamin?

According John Erb, he said that MSG is added to food for the addictive effect it has on the human body.

Even the propaganda website sponsored by the food manufacturers lobby group supporting MSG at http://www.msgfacts.com/facts/msgfact12.html explains that the reason they add it to food is to make people eat more.

A study of elderly people showed that people eat more of the foods that it is added to.

The Glutamate Association lobby group says eating more benefits the elderly, but what does it do to the rest of us?

The MSG manufacturers themselves admit that it addicts people to their products.

Not only is MSG scientifically proven to cause obesity, it is an addictive substance: NICOTINE for FOOD!

Since its introduction into the American food supply fifty years ago, MSG has been added in larger and larger doses to the prepackaged meals, soups, snacks and fast foods we are tempted to eat everyday.

The FDA has set no limits on how much of it can be added to food. They claim it's safe to eat in any amount.

Yes, that last study was not a typo, it WAS written in 1978. Both the medical research community and food "manufaturers" have known MSG's side effects for decades!

The big media doesn't want to tell the public either, fearing legal issues with their advertisers. It seems that the fallout on the fast food industry may hurt their profit margin.

Rats fed GM potatoes had smaller livers, hearts, testicles and brains, damaged immune systems, and showed structural changes in their white blood cells making them more vulnerable to infection and disease compared to other rats fed non-GMO potatoes. It got worse. Thymus and spleen damage showed up; enlarged tissues, including the pancreas and intestines; and there were cases of liver atrophy as well as significant proliferation of stomach and intestines cells that could be a sign of greater future risk of cancer. Equally alarming, results showed up after 10 days of testing, and they persisted after 110 days that's the human equivalent of 10 years.

White House ordered the FDA to promote GM crops, and a former Monsanto vice-president went to FDA to assure it.

The industry is unregulated, and when companies say their foods are safe, their views are unquestioned

There's more. Two dozen farmers reported their pigs and cows fed GM corn became sterile, 71 shepherds said 25% of their sheep fed Bt cotton plants died, and other reports showed the same effects on cows, chickens, water buffaloes and horses. After GM soy was introduced in the UK, allergies from the product skyrocketed by 50%, and in the US in the 1980s, a GM food supplement killed dozens and left five to ten thousand others sick or disabled.

FARMERS are being Plowed over by Monsanto- the world's largest seed producer. Thier seeds get on average Farmers crops, and then distroy the SEEDS that farmers have been saving for generations. Their business is to do the impossible and practically overnight - change the laws of nature and do them one better for profit.

This Immoral company is stepping all over our Canadian and American Farmers.

Monsanto, a VERY EVIL company has developed the terminator seed -- one which will not produce viable seeds after the first generation, thus forcing farmers around the world to buy seed from Monsanto year after year.

THEY ALSO produced (BGH) a powerful GE drug produced by Monsanto which, injected into dairy cows, forces them to produce 15%-25% more milk, in the process seriously damaging their health and reproductive capacity.

Since 1994, every industrialized country in the world, except for the US, has banned the drug.

* rBGH makes cows sick. Monsanto has been forced to admit to about 20 veterinary health risks on its Posilac label including mastitis and udder inflammation.

* rBGH milk is contaminated by pus from mastitis induced by rBGH, and antibiotics used to treat the mastitis.

* rBGH milk is contaminated by the GE hormone which can be absorbed through the gut and induce immunological effects.

* rBGH milk is chemically and nutritionally very different from natural milk.

* rBGH milk is supercharged with high levels of a natural growth factor (IGF-1), excess levels of which have been incriminated as major causes of breast, colon, and prostate cancers.

* rBGH factory farms pose a major threat to the viability of small dairy farms. Thus, rBGH
enriches Monsanto while posing risks but no benefits to the entire U.S. population.

Milk from China Purposely Laced with Deadly Chemicals

First, the U.S. only inspects 1% of all the food that is imported into our country from China. It does not test milk products for melamine.

Asia is the world's largest milk producer, surpassing Europe in 2006.
