Barack Obama Graffiti
In recent years, street art has become popular not just as names tagged on walls, but as political statements. Looking much like political cartoons, street art is a form of propaganda for and by the public.
Obama Stencil Graffiti
Stencil graffiti is growing in popularity and is often political in nature. These are some great examples of Barack Obama stencil graffiti.

Stencil graffiti is growing in popularity worldwide. This street art can be a few simple words, or a grand scale art piece. Because it is cheap, quick, and easy, this style of graffiti has grown tremendously. Often the stencils express political and...

Obama Murals
These grand displays of street art may be graffiti, but because of the time involved, I suspect most of them are with permission of the owner. Artwork like these define an era. It is extraordinary what inspired people can create, and most Obama supporters consider themselves inspired by him.
Your Opinion on Campaign Graffiti
These graffiti street art works are not sponsored by the campaign, but rather are expressions of support by individuals working on their own.

Anti-McCain Graffiti
I have still not been able to find one single pro-McCain stencil on the web. These are a few anti-McCain works:
Anti-Palin Graffiti
The selection of Sarah Palin as McCain's VP choice may have thrown a curve ball at the campaign, but I suspect she did as much harm as good. These street artists are clearly not fans.
What does this all mean?
There is clearly much more Obama street art than McCain street art around.
Is the abundance of Obama graffiti, compared to McCain graffiti, proof that Obama has wider support?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand byNo, It is just graffiti, it means nothing.

In this day and age it some of it could be people being paid to make it look like a grassroots movement. I find it to third worldish for my tastes. Then agian, I don't appreciate most graffiti as most graffiti has to be cleaned up/paid for by business people who've better things to do with their hard-earned time and money.

My guess is that McCain supporters are less likely to break the laws against defacing public property with graffiti.

But it may be the younger public who is more accepting of graffiti. I can't envision the more conservative McCain supporters doing so... lol... funny picture just streaked through the imagination.... :)

While not as permanent as painted graffiti, chalk drawings are a popular street art that can leave a poignant message. Whether it is a grand piece of art, or simple lettering, chalk drawings can certainly drive home a point.
Grassroots
These photos show street art with little planning. They are a testament of how widespread his support is, and how some people will do anything to get out his name, albeit in an ugly and illegal manner.

I love the whole stencil artwork scene. This is a British artist called Banksy who has done lots of street art, a lot of which is targeted towards political subjects. Anyone interested in street art should check him out at http://www.banksy.co.uk/
