Replacing the earlier model Olympus Tough Stylus 1030SW, this Olympus shockproof, waterproof, freeze proof and crushproof camera is virtually indestructible. You can use it almost anywhere when compared to other cameras. Use it for winter sports up a mountain, while kayaking, going down waterslides with the kids or in the sea at depths of up to 10m/33ft. The Olympus Tough Stylus 8000 has a TAP Control feature which allows you to operate the camera just by tapping the body; this is especially convenient when you have gloves on. This tough "off-road" camera is also slim, compact and fits easily into the pocket. Its robust design means that it is also a tough waterproof kids camera, suitable for family use under whatever conditions or activities undertaken.
