    A good read. Even in small classroom groups with my students I used a facilitator and made sure everyone was involved. I was just sharing with someone about unnecessary weekly meetings and how they are a waste of the workers time when there isn't really anything pending. That day there was a big blow up and one of their people quit. Rolling this to my favorites.

    Oh, I agree. Keep it short, involve everyone and record it. In some meetings I have found it useful for folks to submit their comments to me anonymously (and privately). Lots of workplace bullies out there . . .

    Excellent tips for a great meeting. You're right when you set up a meeting first you have to know what you want attendants to know, what is the purpose of the meeting and land the ideas, make them clear, set important points and goals.
