Make your online profile magnetic!!

Go get her Tiger! Raargh!
Be NOTICED. The main thing is to be memorable. You'll hear girls comment that they picked a guy because he was different. Different is good. Here is a profile that is different to most and has worked brilliantly in the past. Please adapt it to suit your situation. I haven't included details about hair colour, height, weight, etc. You're going to have to do that bit!!

About YOU
This is answering the questions without really answering them. There'll be plenty of time to answer for real later. Show that you have a sense of fun!

Occupation
Farmer who solves crime in his spare time

Car
Three-wheeler - fancy a ride?

Least funny joke I know
Man walks into a shop and says, "Do you have any helicopter crisps" Shopkeeper says, "No, only plain (plane)" - goes down well with foreign girls funnily enough

Hobbies
Solving crimes like Columbo. Being a farmer mostly the crimes I face tend to be poaching and sheep worrying. If you fancy yourself as either a poacher or a sheep worrier - I won't hesitate in bringing you to justice.

Dancing
Are you asking?

Music
Insert the name of your favourite band here.

Travel
Was in the Sahara Desert this year - pretty cool. The experience, not the weather

TV
Like to watch cop shows - helps with the hobby

How about HER - what are you looking for?
(This is the good stuff. You're showing that you're choosy, not prepared to settle for just anyone. You'll find this is the section your girl-to-be will comment on!)

Well, looks are important but it's not everything. I'm bored of meeting attractive looking girls that have little or no personality. Being smart helps (you'd be proving that by responding to this profile lol). Not looking for a moaner, whinger or whiner. It's OK if you're a bit of a nerd as long as you don't drone on about Internet protocols or network routers or your rocket science project. Not really interested in the clingy types - bound to be plenty of guys on this site who can accommodate that. Anyway, drop me a line and we'll see how it goes.

She has agreed to meet you!! Yes!! But now what?

You did it!
After some witty exchanges on-line, she agrees to go out with you! Yes! Well done! Now what? All your good work could go to waste if you pick the wrong date option. Dinner and a movie? Not particularly interesting or memorable. Something different? Yes! But what? How about something Creative?

Michael Webb has created an inexpensive Ebook where you will discover dozens of date suggestions that are perfect for all different types of relationships - super inventive date ideas and tips to make dates the most creative and romantic imaginable -- without spending a lot of money or time in preparation.

Make sure you're prepared for all the dates you're going to have - click here and get started!!

Good luck to you!!

Where are the best places to sign up?

Is your profile online yet?

Where are the best places to sign up?
That's a good question. It's not as if there is a shortage of websites out there.

For the best results, set yourself up on a few different sites. By doing this you are advertising your presence in a number of different markets so to speak.

Free or Pay Sites?
It depends on who you're talking to as to which category is best.

Pay sites
Think about this - if a girl has not only invested her time in setting up her profile but is also investing her money - this means that she's serious about meeting someone and so your chances of success will be higher. From the girl's perspective if a guy is willing to invest a little of his own money to get in touch with her then that will be a plus point in her eyes :)

Below is a link to a great paid site:

Lavalife: Where Singles Click!

Free sites
Plenty of Fish is, in my opinion, the best of the free sites. If free sites is the way you want to go then these guys are for you!

Don't you be like these guys!

Dating Losers

My mom used to work for a dating service in the 80s. She kept a bunch of tapes and I edited clips of all the best losers. Enjoy

Just be careful out there!

Internet dating can be lots of fun and a great way to meet people but make sure that you exercise good judgement..

Don't pray for online date help

Atheists have more success at online dating, according to a light hearted statistical study of opening messages.

Self-effacing men are also more likely to get a reply to their approaches, while nothing puts potential dates off more than "text speak" like "ur" and "luv".

This advice is based on analysis of more than 500,000 "first contacts" sent by users of OkCupid, the leading US dating website. It scanned the text of messages to see which terms increased and decreased the chance of earning a response.

Around 42 percent of messages that included the word "atheist" achieved replies, quite a bit higher than the average response rate of 32 percent.

References to "Jewish", "Muslim" and "Christian" boosted a message's success rate marginally whereas mentioning "God" actually discouraged people from replying.

The analysis suggests you should avoid making personal compliments too early - "sexy" and "beautiful" sent response rates plummeting. Alternatively, expressing an interest in hobbies had a much better outcome.

People who used the words "good taste" or "you mention" in their messages pushed their articles response rates close to 50 percent.

Originality is key to making a good first impression according to the analysis.

"Dreary" greetings such as "hi" or "hey" are far less successful than sparkier openings such as "how's it going?" or "what's up?"
