Really hear are some free or low cost bootstrapping tools for small businesses. I think that it's very
helpful for starting business with a small amount of money.

    Thanks a lot.

I have used billingboss.com for online invoicing. It is not as feature rich as freshbooks but it is free with no string attached.

Great list until you decided to mention Salesforce.com. There are far better, more affordable products - SugarCRM or Zoho are two I'd put forward. The issue with SFDC is that it doesn't have the richest feature set and you end up having to also buy partner products to do the basic things (like sales analytics or quoting).

How do you use Google Docs to create online web forms? What kind of forms would you create and for what reason?

Check out Landslide for SFA and CRM as well. They have taken SaaS and sales force.com to another level. Thank you for this by the way very helpful.

Daryl, great lens. The thing you didn't mention is the improving integration between many of these online apps. I also use Saleforce.com (single user "Personal Edition" or a "Developer Edition" is also free), it integrates very tightly with Google's suite (you need a domain but can get this for US$10/yr), and then best of all it is all sync'ed and accessible on your Blackberry.

Productivity tools that cost little and actually work! I will have a look at your other suggestions.

At the moment my greatest cost is Telstra who will always figure how to screw their customers!

I learned more in the last 5 minutes reading this page than I did all day, and I thought I had a pretty productive day! I'll definitely be keeping tabs on this page.

    THANKS!
